If you start comparing properly, you'll find Sam's Club has a bigger selection to choose from and you get free shipping with no minimum purchase with a Plus membership compared to Cost Co. I had both memberships until recently and always choose Sam's Club for better selection. Sam's Club even offers Scan & Go, allowing you to skip the check out altogether. Most of their Member's Mark supplements are verified third-party labs for quality whereas most supplement brands are not. Gas is about $0.70-$0.90 cheaper a gallon. After 6 gas fill-ups you can pay for your membership. You can save about $10-$20 a month on quality grain-free dog food. Generic prescription drugs are extremely cheap as well - although I don't think you need a membership to purchase prescriptions here. Tire & battery replacements are inexpensive and guaranteed. Unlike a tire or battery shop, you don't have to worry about staff who work on commission trying to cheat you. Curbside pickup is free with a Plus membership and many items can be shipped to your home. I highly recommend Sam's Club over Cost Co. Many products are cheaper at Sam's Club too compared to Cost Co.

Had a medium size curbside order. Every thing was smooth and easy, the employee came out promptly, maybe 3 or 4 minutes after i checked in, and was friendly and loaded my items carefully and quickly in the back of my car for me. Only problem i saw was from rude people not paying attention to the pick up only signs for parking, saw 2 people park and go into the store to shop, other than that issue it is a great way to shop at this location

It was a close call, but Costco came out on top as the best deal. Both Costco and Sam's Club offer comparable prices across all departments, but noted that Costco's membership is slightly more expensive. Membership fees start at $55 annually for Costco and $45 annually for Sam's Club. Sam's Club tends to be more reliable on everyday household items and have more cashiers and checkout options making it easier to get in and out.

You can enter early. Because it is called executive membership. Because it is good business and I think that at 6:00 you can enter.
Regular membership you pay less for the year for your membership. Now for the plus it's $100 but you get perks, such as being able to go in early at 7 Monday through Saturday except Sunday. I believe every $500 dollars you buy you get $10 dollars back. By December however much money you earned back you get reward money in return. Which you then can ask for in cash or use towards a purchase. We personally have the plus just because we buy all our items here. If you shop a lot you can rack up lots money in a year by December you can have a little extra money for your holiday shopping. They also have a gas place and you can use either the regular membership or the plus to pump gas at their station. There gas prices are fair too usually a couple cents less the pumping gas at a regular gas station.

Sams club in whole sale retailer there prices are already marked down to it being sold in bulk. They typically don't advertise outside a store setting so you need to contact the club directly and find out if they are reducing any other cost. Sorry this os the Google community and not sams club.
Yes you need a membership but not always. You can request a free 1 day pass to shop but restrictions may apply. You can use the food court without a membership and “Because of a law that prohibits the sale of alcohol through members-only arrangements, all Sam’s Club stores will sell beer, wine, and the hard stuff to nonmembers.” Prescription Drugs: From the Sam’s site, “You do not have to be a Member to buy your prescription medications from Sam’s Club. For pharmaceuticals with a script there is no fee for non-members.”

Now Sam's Club has a Scan and Go App. Skip the lines all together.... Put the App on your phone, shop by taking pictures of the barcode, when you're ready check out on the app, show your app receipt on the way out the door. It is so simple... whether you are dropping in for one or many items. The " Scan and go" app is super convenient. Enjoy.
