Terrible. I give it one star because the folks at the storefront are friendly and helpful, but every day, several times a day, the internet shuts off for several minutes or longer. Trying by telephone to reach a person to help with technical issues is an exercise in frustration. I would have switched long ago but they seem to be the only game in town, and they know it. Update: I received an email from Optimum saying they were sorry for my bad experience and inviting me to send them an email detailing the problem so they could help me. They have not responded to my reply.

The 3 month old cumsock under my bed provides better internet than this useless company (and far better customer service)

Easy place to get internet from
Kelsey Martin
Worst service ever. They told me I was getting faster internet then what I was getting with suddenlink and it’s significantly worse. And my internet with suddenlink was already terrible. Goes out multiple times a day. I work from home so this is a major issue for my job.

I tried reaching a "human" through the GET HUMAN system, but it just kept cycling beteen a wait time of 21 min and 6 min. They never answered. So I chose the $1 offer to talk to an "expert." When I tried to pay using PayPal, I found out I would be billed a monthly recurring fee of $40+. Total waste of time and I never got to talk to real human!
We all need to get together and file a complaint with the fcc and petition humboldt county to create local high speed net as a utility.
No went through this before suddenlink is horrible im getting Hulu and a tnt for internet.
Wouldnt me nd knowing that too it was my morning news ive watched for years. Its not on open air (digital antenna) either. So my guess its a programing feed that has changed just a few days ago, not Suddenlink fault this time. 🤔
Go to eureka office. Tell them to activate a new code for the box. Only can be done from this office, not through phone. Keep box plugged in, they will put new code on it, you will have service restored. Then talk to billing about how long service was out. Mine was 6 weeks.
Man I'm so MAD about that HOTBUY on ch 6 I can't record without the lineup being on for KVIQ
Thats what suddenlink does best they jack the bill sky high on you if you can find another internet provider that would be ideal.
There is a drop box just outside the door where you can drop off equipment at any time.
For what? Modem? Email? Account?
Thank you Gordon Clatworthy. I have about had it with them.
Shut suddenlink down, turn tv off, wait 3 minutes then reboot it. Works for me.
As a ex house painter I would say no but there shouldn't be a reason why you can't
Probably not!
If you have wifi and apps on your TV, you can get ESPN plus through Hulu or Disney
You should be able to go to the office and they will look it up with a simple I'd check. Otherwise it will be on your bill when it comes.
Some channels have switched some programming. But it seems that the channel's themselves have remained in the same numerical positions.
I think you have to call the Suddenlink Office
It's a cable connection
I downloaded the suddenlink app on my phone and paid my first bill there.
Coax cable to Cablebox. Then HDMI to TV. Be sure to do the initial setup which searches for stations. You can also Google or YouTube for visual and audio aids.
i haven't.. lol..
make sure you scroll to the higher channel that has an "HD" near it.. like instead of being chanel 29.. it might be like 129hd or 229 hd..
no charge i believe.. just pay what you might owe and return all the equipment..
Not sure call them
im not sure.. possibly due to the heavy rains..
I don't believe so.
yes
They'll raise your rates without so much of an email notice
Restarting the device, modem, and router will fix this most of the time. Also depending on whether youre connect straight in or using Wi-Fi will matter tremendously. Sometimes its as simple as someone else using the internet in your home at the same time. I tested my internet peoviders bandwidth to find out i was not getting what I was paying for and found sometimes the time you use it may be throttled... It does and can happen.
Had this with my mother in law call and talk to an agent to fix the problem
Yes
Yes.
It has been terrible. Weak signal, slow. The cable sucks and the internet is sub par.
That's correct there on different stations ⚾
Complain until they give you free stuff😁
Yes in the phone book
Correct, 8:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. 9:00 on Wednesday.
I have noi clue I never had to have that happen and cost of start up all depends on what you are havingvhooked up
Unfortunately there is no way to get ahold of them directly unless you complain a lot I got on dslreports dot-com and was complaining about an issue and took about a page and a half and finally a supervisor emailed me the best choice is to go down there in person 911 West Wabash Eureka and wait in line you could try and schedule an appointment for technician to come by to work on your service and then have him pick up the box but make sure it's noted in the work order Suddenlink is now owned by altice a company out of the Netherlands currently I'm trying to get a job through them the last time I tried to get a job through Suddenlink directly they interviewed me twice but then I think they looked back at the dslreports page and decided they did not want to hire this particular technician fingers crossed altice will hire me for I am very qualified good luck
Use your cell phone to call Suddenlink or AT&T 😡
Did you check to see if someone could of cut your line out side Because I did with the trimmers we had promblems for years losing the internet after changing and having them come to my house so many times . The last person came and went all around my house and sure enough it was where cut the old line i thought . It would work then stop then work. So the suddenlink man replace the line but put it up high so it wouldn't happen again . We have not lose are internet since.
We have new cable as of 6 months ago, didn't help. Maybe update modum ???
Yes but only on my blu-ray disc player no other tv in the house has any problems so I blame the player.
Idk, but since most smartphones have thier own app to block unwanted calls, then yes. If you have issues on your home phone (landline) use the do not disturb call registry that will stop most if not all solicitation calls.
