If my cat was microchipped there is there a way I can track him? I believe he was taken from my neighborhood over ten years ago and I never knew what happened to him

I do not believe that his microchip has a GPS in order to track them. If someone found him and brought him to a vet or animal officer and they swipe a hand device over ur cat to discover the chip will give a # that they can then try to find the owner, whoever registered the chip have contact info then they contact you. But I believe someone should invent a GPS tracking device which may happen someday. Sorry about your cat ❤
