We were there a few weeks ago. We hiked up the trail and walked on highway 1 to Nepenthe. Ranger had info regarding where to park and where trail starts. There is also a shuttle that you can take to Nepenthe once you hike up the trail and reach highway 1.

With respect to seating, all of our seating is socially distanced per CDC, CDPH, and Monterey County Health Department guidelines, with current indoor occupancy set at no more than 50%.

We follow CDC, California Department of Public Health, and Monterey County Health Department COVID-19 guidelines, including pre-shift self-attestations by employees to ensure they do not come to work with COVID-19 symptoms, socially distanced seating, sanitization of work and dining areas, required postings of COVID-19 advisory information, required face coverings of guests and staff, etc.

Luna, Nepenthe will be open on December 25, serving lunch from 11:30 AM until 4:30 PM, with the bar and dining room then closing at 5:00 PM. We will not be open that evening for dinner service. The Cafe Kevah will be open from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM, weather permitting. The Phoenix Shop will be open from 10:30 AM until 5:00 PM. I think the cafe, open air, would be fine, but I've never seen them in the resto.
