Easy hike. However don’t forget that going down to the cove is the east part. Coming back up can be difficult. Nice views throughout. The payoff is at the cove. Tunnel to get there is pretty cool. Parking is like all the other sites in Big Sur. At times crowded other times there is space available. Enjoy

Initial part is steep downwards, rest of trail is flat. While returning can break the ascent with short breaks. It's definitely doable for older adults.

Site says yes. Remember, parking is off the highway. Parking is limited. The entrance looks like a gate to private property and it's right of a curve. Have fun 😊
No more than hour, but stay at the cove for awhile and enjoy the changing views.
