Ever since they changed to "root" - Line up like cattle. That's all you are to them. Your not a human in this facility, your not a mother, a father, a child of someone that needs help... your a numbe . That's it. Horrible environment and as unprofessional as any medical facility in the United states come . All I can say to this is hopefully someday, someone will see how the people who need help are being treated here. And hopefully someday this facility will change its ways and help those seeking to change their lifestyle..... until then jump thru their hoops one after another

I was asked if ' you can actually detox off of opiates with the methadone and in time get off the methadone?' First? There are groups. 2nd and most important! YOU CAN QUIT OPIATES WITH THE USE OF METH. DO NOT, I REPEAT? DO NOT GO ANY HIGHER OF A DOSE THAT WILL KEEP YOU FROM BIG SICK. THE CLINIC WILL BRING YOU DOWN AS SLOWLY AS YOU NEED. 2MG A WEEK, 5 MG WHAT EVER IS COMFORTABLE FOR YOU. THE HIGHER YOUR DOSE, THE LONGER YOU WILL BE ON THE METHADONE. THERE ARE DIFFERENT GROUPS TO TRY TO HELP YOU. ALSO I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE GETTING OFF OF THEIR "DRUG OF CHOICE" TO SEE A REAL THERAPIST . I USED FOR 35 YEARS. I AM NOW CLEAN FOR 7. IT TAKES CHANGES AND LETTING GO. BUT YOU CAN QUIT. I AM WRITING ABOUT MY LIFE AND THE PEOPLE I USED AND DESTROYED . GOD BE WITH YOU ALL.
