**Please see 2nd paragraph. 1st is just to explain initial stress of our stay. We booked this hotel far in advance so that we would have a place to stay in Green Bay at a reasonable rate. We have a very specific search we do, making sure the hotel has at least 4.5 stars and is relatively new, as we have allergies. We were able to book this hotel with our Discover card online through the “official” hotel website. For some reason, we were not made aware (until I called to ask if we were able to get a room on the fourth floor on the date of arrival) that they needed a different credit card, that they did not accept Discover card. Unfortunately, this is the only credit card we have. We, of course, panicked since we have no other credit cards and had to call our bank and make sure we were able to take out more cash than our normal daily limit, as we were told that was our only other option to pay for the hotel. This is on the hotel- not us. One should not be able to book with a discover credit card if it is not accepted. Whether or not other owners of this hotel chain accept discover, something should pop for this location with a warning and not allow you to book. That is a glitch on your part.This was not a very relaxing start to our vacation in Green Bay. We got over that. What I still have an issue with is the horribly rude desk clerk that checked us in, I believe named Angela. We had been told by the manager we spoke with (Alexa?) that told us we can pay in cash, that she would leave a note explaining that. We even took it upon ourselves to ask if we needed extra cash for incidentals. The manager, Alexa told us no. But when we explain this to Angela, she was very rude, telling us that they did not accept discover and that she would need a different card for incidentals. Extremely rude. I had to ask if she would call Alexa. She went in the back room where we could not hear her and then came out kind of laughing. She did not apologize for her initial rudeness, only said in a stern voice that she is going to need both of our licenses. I believe this Angela also was titled a manager. She definitely could benefit from further customer service training. I would understand her demeanor had we’ve been rude to her, but we were nothing of the sort. This vacation was very important to us, and the experience we had at this hotel will cause us to never again stay at a home2, and was definitely not the relaxation that we had spent money to enjoy.

I Love This Hotel!!! I Highly Recommend It! I Have Talked To A Lot Of The Staff! They Are All Wonderful!!! I am A Social Media Influencer And CEO of Hollis Global Consulting! We Have Years Of Experience In The Hospitality Field. We Went To College And Created Our Company While We Were In School. Our Company Is 7 Years Old. This Is A 3 ⭐️ Hotel But It’s Ratings Are At 4.5! That Is Terrific! I Do Have A Couple Concerns But No Big Deal!

The Home2 Suites is conveniently located close to Lambeau Field and the surrounding bars and restaurants. That's why I chose it while attending Packer Camp late July '21. Hotel itself is nice. Breakfast is good . Some of the staff is nice, some I found rude and snooty. The breakfast has make your own waffles. The hotel was using the wrong size cups to measure the batter, too small. Guests would use 1 cup as instructed and the waffle would not turn out, throw it away and start over. Waste of batter and more importantly tie up the maker twice as long. I mentioned to a new staff member (she advised she was) they should place a sign 2 cups required. Older staff member was walking by and said in a very condescending manner "It's only an inch short". (Guess she never used the waffle maker) She then walked into what I believe is a manager’s office and the 2 were talking staring directly at me. Very rude and uncalled for at a business that caters to guests. If you need to use the sleeper sofa forget about it. It's more like a medieval torture device than a bed. If you've ever seen the Seinfeld episode about the sleeper sofa at Jerry's parents in FL, this is the same sofa. I did complete a Hilton survey and wrote a letter to the hotel manager asking for a response. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the manager by both phone and letter I gave up. The hotel provided a refund for 1 night of a 3 night stay weeks later without even acknowledging they were doing that (found refund on credit card statement) but would not communicate direct with me. Very disappointing experience for Hilton Brand hotel. Hotel ownership should review their hotel management. I will never choose to stay at the Home 2 Suites, Green Bay again which is a pity as it does have some good things going for it, but treating customer like they deserve to be is not one of their attributes. Update - As was requested by the "owner" in the hotel response, I did call the hotel. I was advised that the General Manager (GM) was the person that left the review response and she was not in. I left a message for her to call me. A week passes and I hear nothing. I call back and the GM happened to answer the phone. She didn't have a good explanation why I didn't get a call back. Furthermore, there were no questions that were asked so "further investigation" could take place. Seemed like the response from the hotel was just a smokescreen. I guess I should not be surprised.

Good location nearby within walking distance of Lambeau Field. 4 floors of all tge amenities you would expect with a decent gym and pool area. Breakfast is free each day from 6 to 9 AM too!!!
