Last Saturday, July 27, Tybee Light Sail and Power Squadron, America’s Boating Club Savannah had our luncheon Cruise to Fish Tales at the Fort McAllister Marina. Outstanding service! We contacted them when our 8 boats and 44 members, approached. The two Dock Hands efficiently brought each of our 8 boats to an open space, and got us safely docked. Allowed us to quickly disembark, and head up to be seated for lunch. Thank you!

If you need a place to store your boat, put your boat in, or just looking for a bite to eat, then look no further. MaAllister Marina is the place to go. We have a very large 29’ ft (including motors) tri-toon with a 10’ft wide beam and our 1st attempt at putting her in the water with the lift was unsuccessful due to issues with the motors and chains/straps touching. We were too afraid of damaging something. They were struggling to find a way to do it. We probably had 10-15 people there trying to figure out how to put her in the water. Well Butch put on his thinking cap, contacted someone he thought could help us and the next time we were there we got it in in under 15 minutes.

Good food. Friendly. Eat in or out of doors. It was warm during Winter night. But, be prepared for gnats. Where are the zappers?

Nice marina to run the boat from. There's even a good restaurant right on the river to enjoy a beer after a long day

Yes, in the back. We run a detail shop out of the storage yard across the street. There are hoses by the wash down pad behind the house. If you need washing, detailing, bottom painting or anything else like that, you can reach us at Capt Mike's detailing. 912 398 1770
Don't know of any boats for rent at the marina. Unless you hire a guide to go with it. Some large ponds on Ft Stewart. Lake George down in Midway. Lake Mayer in Savannah.
