Shane the front desk clerk was very professional and excellent attitude. Whenever I come back to FT. Jackson this Hotel will always be my Hotel to stay the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is just awesome Keisha made sure everything was hot and helped me with take out as well. Excellent nighttime desk clerk, Kim, who could not have been better. She was alone on duty and did an excellent job of checking in guests, answering guests' questions, and answering the phone. She did all of this and was a delight to deal with. Public area very nicely done. Very good breakfast offerings and service to keep it all well stocked. On the flip side, the room cleanliness was abysmal in some areas. The carpet was grungy, our feet stuck to the floor in the bathroom and turned our socks black with dirt. The worse was the desk chair: Cloth and stained beyond belief. We wanted it out of the room. Very difficult to make adjustments to the thermostat and could not stop the fan from running. The beds were very acceptable in their cleanliness, however. The floor and desk chair filth assures us we will never return to this location.

I would choose this hotel again when I visit Columbia, SC. The staff was friendly and nice. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower curtains would not close all the way and the tube felt funny on the bottom. Oh and the pool is not heated so it never warmed up but it would be good on real hot days.

Our family stayed one night. We had 4 separate rooms. Each room was comfortable and clean. The staff made the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was busy with families coming in for a graduation the next day but the staff at the front desk were kind, courteous, and helpful to everyone. Should we have other business near Fort Jackson again we will be staying at this property.
