The service at this hotel was horrible. We came back from the pool and caught housekeeping snooping around in our room because they said they smelled smoke in the hallways. I filed a complaint with customer relations and when contacted back the GM Brandon who was very rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. He stated that every room has a private alarm system that will sounds at the front desk if someone in smoking or if it is a fire in the room. So that gives housekeeping no reason to be in the rooms if no alarm went off in that room. I also had a do not disturb on the door. I requested to speak to the upper management/owner and they tried to push me off by saying that his information is unavailable. I give this hotel 0 stars … the 1star was just to post this review

Very kind service and clean as well. The person we had was very kind and even gave us directions to the Pizza Hut nearby. We asked if they had any educator discount, and we got a room that would have been $150 to $125 and she was kind about looking too. The breakfast was free and good. Some food was slightly cold. The bathrooms and suits were clean. One of the elevators going down was stuck, but when pressing the manual open door button , it opened. Thank you holiday in for accommodating our stay!

I would have given a zero (0) star if I could. On Thursday, 5th May 2022, I had my worst hotel experience with this specific hotel. I called and made a reservation. Everything was set, and we were good to go. I drove there at 8 pm to grab the key. Surprise! The receptionist asked me my home address and said that because I live within 30 Miles, they could not give me the room, which I could understand. However, as an IHG member (Platinum Elite), my address and payment card were in the system when booking the room. They knew or should know that. She even thanked me for being a valuable member. Why didn't they refuse my reservation right away and waited until 8 pm? Sad, upset, and frustrated, I stepped outside and tried to call several other hotels (around 8:30 pm). Obviously, there was no availability for us at that time. I had to sleep OUTSIDE, in the car, with my wife and two kids. I will never, never, never, never, never, and never go back again or recommend this specific hotel to anyone. Worst customer service ever...

We had a great stay at this hotel! We were in town for the graduation ceremony at Fort Jackson which was only 10 minutes away. We had a double queen room that was very clean and spacious. The website said they had recently renovated their rooms and they did a great job, I really liked the laminate floors. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the bathroom was large and the shower had good water pressure. We had assumed that there wouldn't be any housekeeping service since many hotels have stopped cleaning stay overs due to covid restrictions so we were pleasantly surprised when our room was cleaned each day. And the housekeepers do an excellent job! All the staff that I spoke to were very friendly. We were also happy that the pool was open and it was warm! If I'm ever in the area again this hotel will be my first choice!
