This hotel was wonderful, as soon as I got there the staff was very welcoming and made you feel like you’re actually family. From the front desk to housekeeping. The room was clean and had a fridge with a wet bar. The bathroom, while a little on the dated side was clean and sanitary. The bed was very comfortable. The seating area in the room was very relaxing. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. Not a lot of kids running around or screaming. Breakfast was great and well kept up with needs of the people who stayed. The pool was very clean and well kept. There was a sitting area outside to sit and relax. The hotel was 11 minutes from Wrightsville beach, 15 minutes from downtown Wilmington. My only complaint was getting out of the hotel onto main road. Other than that, excellent place to stay.

My family had two adjoining rooms for a stay in May 2022. One of the rooms had no working lights on one side of the room, and no working lights in the bathroom. Despite four calls to the front desk, nobody ever attempted to fix the lights. We ended up using a candle in the bathroom and were charged $250 for smoking due to the candle. So the manager is still lying about the lights not working and the fraudulent charges. A review of the reviews here show a consistent pattern of fraudulent charges and false accusations. Visa has flagged this hotel for fraud and is investigating. DO NOT GIVE THIS CROOK YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO.

Positive: It took four rooms to find one that had been cleaned other rooms had trash and beds not made up. The clerk was very nice and tried to help out and was very accommodating. Could not be expected any better as it was not his fault. He escorted us around Negative: The par lot to the hotel has potholes and is in poor shape along with the entrance area sucks. The breakfast bar has a lot to be desired. Put in the toaster and fixed a waffle in the waffle iron.9am and the power went off as it is on a timer. No breakfas

Positive: Price Negative: NO HOT BREAKFAST even the listing stated hot breakfast. I know things have changed because of Covid but we stayed at another Comfort Suites on the way to NC - the day before and they had hot breakfast. Hotel was fairly clean but n the need of upgrading
