When you have a world class art museum and it’s free to residents, you go. There are stellar exhibitions on the schedule, and a permanent collection that is literally in textbooks. Special exhibitions are granted ticketed, but timed to allow for crowd limit. You bring the kids on a rainy day. You visit with out of town guests. Schedule a visit since it’s free space to catch up with a friend. Lots of food options in the neighborhood afterwards. Or jump on Citibike right outside. Tourists will want to drop by the Botanic Garden once you’re in the area.

Grand museum with various exhibits and displays from Ancient Egypt to Modern & Contemporary Western Art.

One of my favorite museums.

Special exhibits always have a cost. General admission to the museum is actually 'suggested contribution' but this is in the fine print...they certainly make you feel like you should pay.
It's recommended to pay 16 dollars but it's a donation based
The Museum is free for people 19 and under and on the first Saturday of every month from 5pm to 11pm. The reality is that because they accept public funding they my only request a "suggested donation" and so one may pay any amount from 0 dollars and up and they may not refuse to let you enter. That being said this is an institution that is well worth supporting and I would encourage you to donate as much as you can.
MoMA currently has an exhibit but make sure you go as soon as you can . The exhibit is only running until Jan 15th, 2019. Enjoy!
They have Monday hours for the Frida exhibit only.
I just googled it. February 8–May 12, 2019
Yes there is an attached parking lot. Also, it's exceedingly reasonable rates considering the area.
Not sure but you can get information by visiting the web on the Brooklyn museum
Usually you can find free street parking close by. The parking lot tends to be full on Saturdays.
It's an oil on canvas painting done around 1850. Its 33×49 inches. It's a reflection if American life during that time period . It's still in display at the museum on the 5th floor in "American Art Galleries"
Yes. Check out this link https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/visit/hours_admission/dining
The museum is great but on yhe first Saturday of every month they have an event with great music and good vibe.
r
They do - although they have an upper limit of visitors. So it's possible to arrive and find all the time slots booked.
I saw it, it may be the greatest exhibit of all times. Saw at least half a dozen people driven to tears (i may have been one of them).
I think they have some of his paintings just ask when you get there
I have no idea what a "cool culture pass" is... so I'm sorry. I cannot help.
Yes
Inside the museum you have to wear your mask but if you hang outside of the museum you don't have to wear you mask
There is a parking lot behind the museum.
I'm sure you can get a refund. But I went recently and they had all the precautions in effect. I felt safe.
Adult $16 general admission, special exhibits cost $25 which include general admission. There are discounts for students & seniors. This is a wonderful museum, GO & enjoy!
I would try to call them and get a refund. I feel like the museum is probably going to be open for a large majority. You just have to be vaccinated to enter the premises. Besides that if this does happen again, I would just get a refund otherwise.
They might. Contact the museum and email the head curator.
Yes.. Thats right its on Eastern Parkway n the corner of Washington Ave..
Don't live in NYC. Look up their website. Probably find info their. Or at least a contact that could answer you. All good exhibits so enjoy!
It is a permanent exhibit, so I am sure it will still be there.
There's a small cafe with sandwiches and salads in a case. Eating area cannot accommodate 30. There is a restaurant there but I don't remember the name. It was a little pricey but it could probably handle 30 people. Your best bet is to contact the museum.
MOMA
I don't think so. I believe it's still under construction.
Absolutely, you can go anyday of your choosing without an appointment but be sure to check for special events.
No you only enter for free on Target First Saturdays. On normal days only children are free

Yeah, both coat and bag check available.
When I went there, last January, I was told to pay how much I want. There was a suggested price, but I could pay the ammount I want.
Hello, I suggest you go to MET, Regards
The Brooklyn museum is great with discounts for groups as well as senior and children discounts.

My Spanish is very bad but it is true Monday, and Tuesday. Every other day opens at eleven
There's a coats and bags check, but I don't know about large pieces such as luggage.
Not quite sure but you might want to call them as soon as possible to see if there is availability.
The Brooklyn Museum works with the suggested contribution policy and not with free admission. Here are the values: Adults: US $ 16 Students (valid ID): US $ 10 Adults over 65: US $ 10 19 years or younger: free Visitors with disabilities (free care partner): US $ 10 In addition, there are exhibitions that are paid, or you only have access if you are with the income. If you have any doubts, access to the official website of the museum: https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/ Good luck !!
I believe they have a group rate and audio tour in the specific language.
I am not able to answer the question
There is a suggested price for 16$ (not mandatory). Suggested price means that you can pay as much as you want starting from 1$). It is free for members and people under 19.

You should read the Post's review of it before shelling out.
Good afternoon, how much does it cost to renew the Dominican passport? I am in New York and my passport has just expired.
I believe, according to the museum's website, the exhibit runs from February 8, 2019, through May 12, 2019.
And
There may be additional admission fees for special exhibitions (beyond the standard admission).
They have elevators
I did not notice art by said artist when I visited.
There's a suggested donation of around $16 per person. But you can pay whatever you can.
I bought my ticket of 85.00 in March for June. The tickets are sold out.
There should be. Call the museum
The Brooklyn Museum is a all day thing. Just come early and enjoy the Museum. I hope that helpful
Only in the cafe and restaurant. You're not allowed to carry any open beverage or food container on the gallery floor !
Don't know. Give them a call to see.
Check the website tickets
First try a Google search and check under images. If not try www.
People out in this or playing hookey from work
Lincoln Station is also close by on lincoln and washington. They have drinks, sandwiches, coffee, and is an excellent place to sit and chat.
Cultural hot spot! Much more than just art exhibits. Great bar/cafes, performances, classes, seminars & amazing socials! First Saturday's of the month are not to be missed!!
Exhibitions do NOT always have an entrance fee. It is suggested donation unless it is a special ticketed show. The only one for 2018 will be David Bowie' s exhibition.
The museum is free. Cost is only a suggestion to continue operation.
I don't believe so, but the permanent collection is Pay-What-You-Wish at all times, and free Target First Saturdays return in October.
Yes ~ The Tattoo Artist and The Dugout.
