PA child support is a joke that's not funny they make it there business to take more than they should from hard working people who try and are still in there children lives and help provide. They are making me pay over one thousand dollars per month in child support for one child which I cannot afford that's over 50% of my income. Who was previously living with me for 3 years and every time I would take the children's mother for child support they denied me I think cause I'm a male and she's a female. But they let her take me for support cause she lied with no documentation about my income and now they have something new called an earning capacity in which everyone on child support is held accountable for. But the big question is what was the child's mother earning capacity and why didn't they put her on child support. Me and the children's mom have two children together one lives with me and the other with her now I can't afford to properly take care of my other child and domestic relations act like they don't understand that.

Child support in Pa is outdated. It ends at 18 or when the child graduates high school. I don't know any 18 year old who just graduated high school that can fully support themselves financially. It should continue until at least 19 and then up to 23 if they're in college full time.

Useless. Men can be thousands of dollars behind, make a $25 payment and still not be held in contempt. Fortunately we don't need the money, but, when the man hasn't even seen the child in 9 years on his own accord. The least they can do is hold them financially obligated.
April
Umm no i was not. So no information

Same here! Had it on my home screen, rebooted removed and tried to re-add it and it's stuck on the load screen
U need to switch to full website in order to go online
Try using it in incognito mode while on your phone. Or try using desktop mode on your phones browser.
It worked until very recently. I'm not sure what they changed. Try it using "incognito mode"
Someone else recommended using incognito mode and that worked for me
If you're trying to sign into your account, and it won't work, try it again in "incognito mode"
www.humanservices.state.pa.us
Clear the site history from you Bowser
I'm pretty sure it's illegal
I had to create a new username when they did the update, try making a new username. I didnt have to change my password.
They didn't for my grandson. His father hasn't paid in years & he found a way to get out of paying and Pa child support agency don't catch on lmao. He quits his job as soon as the employer gives him paperwork to fill out for auto pay support. Now he put everything in his girlfriend's name, she don't work only gets child support. He started his own landscaping business so he didn't have to pay he also told the agency he can't pay because he doesn't have a job, so they cancelled the payments. He also got a lot of money from the stimulus with 5 other kids. now works for her family & it's under the table in another state. How could this agency not catch on
Can you please be more specific in your question, so I can give a more specific answer? Thank you.
You should ask your counties prothonitary directly. Try emailing them also.
Generally, but if the child is in school and still living with the custodial parent it can be extended. Also, special needs children have different guidelines. The medical obligation may be different from the financial.
If u signed the birth certificate the child is still considered urs .
IT DEPENDS ON THE STATE YOU LIVE IN.maybe you need to talk to your child and see where you can help when he or she goes to college. THIS is a great opportunity.
No
Treasury Department DHS Program,DRS Social Services welfare child support Inforcement Organization Never sign any documents Contracts or agreements It's all voluntary under the title 4D ,So is acknowledgement of paternity is where they need you to contract with them Do not sign any paperwork with these people
If a parent was to get the stimulus check back in March/April but owned back childsupport they were not getting their stimulus check it was going toward their back child support. They rec a letter in the mail saying it was going to back child support. It is just weird that the money hasn't went toward back child support yet.
call the office or go to them even online it can b done
You need to file a custody case with family court. Child custody/visitation and child support are two different things.
First, you need to be sure they actually intercepted the refund. Once they receive the refund, it can take several weeks to process. I've heard people received it within 60 days. Others waited about 6 months. It depends on how and when the other party filed.
A month after this comment & still can't get in! My phone won't load the site at all & once I login on my computer, it crashes, EVERYTIME!
If it isnt court ordered that you pay child support I believe you can stop on your own, I would maybe call your local child support agency and ask, im sure they would at least be able to provide you with general information given that you aren't in the court system
Yes
18 or graduate HS or a court order for lafer
Depends when the funds where put thru !
I'm pretty sure it's where the child resides.
It can take weeks before the refund is turned over to Domestics.
Did you tdy Pa child support human services ? And you need a log in for an account
Call them right away to clear up the matter or go there in person 25 South Front Street Harrisburg 17110 8th floor
You would have to petition the court. Are they over 18?
Hi Wanda! I called first thing Monday morning. The site having issues loading was, sadly, unrelated the non payment issue. I was really hoping that it was the reason for the non payment; but, well, here we go again. But, I digress. The website seems to be fickle with cell phones often. I did mention the issues to Domestic Relations in Montgomery County. Doubt much will come from that convo since the other issue (mentioned above) prevailed. Thanks for answering my question ☺️
I do believe you have to go to the PA domestic relations office to get it all straightened out. And i hope it gets paid every month now because if not domestic relations in Bucks County suck !! Sorry and sad to say
If the child lives with a parent and has a place to sleep and food and clothes. They don't care where the exact money goes to. The cold is being cared for. If that's not the case the non-custodial parent should get custody instead of worrying about where the exact $ is going. J's.
Dont know ! Im a receiver not a payer. Look on their website but i think it cause it goes to scdo
Try using it in "incognito mode" on your browser if you're using chrome. Like you should be.
Beep boop beep boop
Pa is zero balance state it has to be completely payed off
Please ask questions in the standard question form. Thank you
Maybe, they took my tax return every year until my arrears were paid
If ur name was never on there u might have to prove DNA unless the mother doesnt protest then u can go about it by calling domestics and trying to speak to ur officer
They'll just establish paternity And then yes
I guess I'll have to try my laptop. My payment is late too...
Yes. Look up the domestic relations office in your county, and call them for an appointment.
Yes. Unless you are talking college aged. After 18, consult your order for wording on aging out, whether it is contingent on college/trade school attendance.
No. If you live together they will let you file, but will deny the orde5
Your order was already set at one job.Unless you got the second job later they can't change it.Had this problem and now I'm over paid on child support.I had to go there to fix it.
Until 18 years old or graduate high school
Did you find anything out? I am in the same situation
non-custodial parent
Need a little more info to answer this. The website is temperamental. I always advise people to click as payee or payor before attempting to log on. What exactly is not working for you?
It depends on the combined income of both parents, and the percentage of custody that each parent has.
They add up both incomes, then use a table to determine what a child needs each month based on their parents combined incomes. Each parent is responsible for a percentage of that number. The percentage that each parent pats depends on their percentage of custody, and their percentage of income.
