This place is a big joke they don't help you unless you're homeless and even if you give him a valid reason to why you are moving out of the resident that you are at to a new residence that's better they still don't care. This is the worst place to look for help please reconsider and go somewhere else where people were actually professional and actually care about your well-being.

Go to the Catholic Church in front of state capital on state street and explain to them what is happening and they will guide you to the best place to go
I know the feeling. Sorry to hear about your horrible experience with them too. Praying that you can find some help. Have you tried the YWCA?
Must have a stable income to show that you can handle the rent after they help
Regarding shelter, you will need to contact/visit Bethesda Mission. Regarding security deposit, we do have a program that can assist with that, however you will need to show income that you can afford the housing moving forward.
Did this church help you Cheryl Lubold
There is no guarantee of space, but as the other answer said, shelter spots are first come/first serve so its best to get to our office by 8:30 am. Our walk-in hours are 8:30 - 11 am, and then again from 1 - 3 pm.
That is a service we may be able to help with, but you will need to come to our office during walk-in hours (8:30 - 11 am, 1 - 3 pm M-F, except Wed. afternoons). Hope you can make it in so we can see if we can help.
As far as i know they do help with that, as well as with security deposit. But with thst, you cant move in when you apply or you don't get it. They have a website with information
Yes such as shelters and help first month rent and a security deposit
Hello sorry to hear about your misfortune. I dont think they do. But it dont hurt to try. Also if you are a member of a church they should help some. Try for some assistance also.
Yes they would.Lots of paper needed. A couple of visit.
Go to Community Action on Derry St for utility assistance.
We don't provide shelter at our location, but we are the place you need to come for a referral to a local shelter if there are openings. Openings are filled on a first come, first serve basis, so its best to arrive at our office at 413 S. 19th St. by 8:30 am in the morning to have the best chance of getting shelter.
Yes
I dont think they have food there but refer you to another organization. Usually you need ID of everyone over age 18, social security numbers of everybody in household, proof of income and a utility bill. I'm not positive of this but these are generally what is needed.
Not sure , but there should be a date of when you should hear back from them, if you don't hear anything in a few days. I will call them to ask questions about it. Hope this helps you. Good luck.
Keep in mind it is local people who respond. Its best to contact them.
The ministry doesn't answer these inquiries here.
I'm not positive. They do check past records, it all depends on the felony charge.
They may help in finding someone to help or help paying for it.
Yes a percentage they will depends on what you make and living conditions.
They have a set limit on what they can help with. Depends on your household income.
What type of id do i need to get the voucher?
