Lots of good restaurants, not so many shops. Weekend nights it's very very loud due to the line music -- which is awesome if you're there for the music, but not if you're just there to eat. Also, when there is live music, a big section of the street is closed off except to people who buy tickets, so several of the restaurants become difficult to get to, if not impossible. It's generally a pretty cool area, but it feels a bit run down and in need of some refurbishment and new shops.

Great time at this location with plenty to see, do, and eat. Lots of outside restaurant seating, games and activities. Usually live music on the weekends which contributes to a fun, friendly atmosphere. Check out the pictures and videos, and give it thumbs up for the ones you like. Park in the 5th street garage for $5 walk right in to the middle of it all. Lots of excitement, energy, and entertainment for the whole family. Hope this is helpful.

Decided to take it in after a concert....all that was available was the bars of which weren't that good...we actually bought a couple of drink took a couple sips & tossed them (completely unlike us)... definitely a PARTY ZONE if that's what you're up for :)

Love this concept! Lots of options all in a city block and two stories. You can bowl, play pool, play bags, get BBQ from Guy, catch live music, or just drinka and dance yourself into a stooper. Your choice! I recommend a visit here while taking a break from the Bourbon Trail. We did notice during this last visit that there are several businesses that are closed for good 😪. COVID has devastated so many restaurants among other social situations! I am looking forward to Louisville returning to their previous healthy town. To spit all of that, if you are looking for a fun evening, Fourth Street Live will not disappoint!

I've lived in Louisville most of my Life, from the time of the late 50's when I was born here. In the late 90's a Mayor got the idea to have horses painted and stationed at various locations to draw attention to those areas. They were also to bring attention to the Derby in a Secondary sort of way.
No reason to cancel. The area is mostly covered, so make plans and come on over for the party.

Yes but there is alcohol served everywhere so be ready
Each restaurant has its own closing time. Some are midnight and some are 1 AM.
I would assume you could, but you would probably get something that signals that youre not 21 and cant drink
Its free to get into 4th st live but certain clubs & bars have cover charges on the weekends
yes
Hello Brad, thanks for reaching out! The Sports & Social Club and Tavern on Fourth both carry O'Doul's. Cheers! 🍻
The are open on week days as well.
It's free to enter unless there's a concert (which you need tickets for). The bars are a mix of cover and no cover. Restaraunts are free. Establishments seem to change year to year with about 7 or 8 being long term, living outside Louisville for 9 years now. PBR bar is a fun country bar. There's the food standards of TGI Friday's and Hard Rock Cafe. Here's the link: https://www.4thstlive.com/
At which bar 4th Street itself does not have a cover charge the bars have cover charges
Go to 103.1 forth street live events they have a few country bands this summer
Pretty much, cant enter any bars or locations that serve alcohol. You maybe able to check it out if its in the open part.
I don't think so... You can call the number for the venue and find out.
No.... you have to be 21 after a certain hour
I will sure try the onion rings. Does anyone herd the band that is supposed to be playing?
Not sure who plays night tonight but you can be sure that it's going to be a good time
