No reason to cancel. The area is mostly covered, so make plans and come on over for the party.
A lot of events are rain or shine. I would say check your specific event to find out what the rules are. Where the band play is a covered area.
It would have to be pretty bad, I've never heard of anything being canceled due to the weather.
