Interesting historical site in a beautiful setting.

Lots of info on Lincoln's son. He was not beloved by Pullman Car butlers and chefs, which is ironic. Visit to find out why?
Thomas Balzano
To be clear, this is not Lincolns home.

Beautiful. Docents were able to answer questions

I believe if memory serves me correct it was $23 as for the tour of the house and they did have other attack on tours that cost $8.50. that might seem high to you but you can easily spend all day there. They also opened up a new part where Lincoln did his farming. It was my second time that I went this past summer but I would like to go back into the fall to see the grounds would be simply stunning. I hope this was helpful to you
I would call them on the phone and ask them that question. Maybe they will be able to help you.
I've been there 3x and never saw a dog. I would definitely call first to find out. Maybe they would allow dogs on the grounds but not in the actual house.
Yes holiday open house is actually this weekend..dec 1 &2 The school choir is singing there Sunday from 1-2
All gardens, trails, farm and venue access is covered by the admission fee ($23/adults, $6/ages 6 - 16years), paid at the Welcome Center. No part of the property is free to access, unless you are a member (yearly individual membership, $60). For members, check-in is required at the Welcome Center, and access is during business hours only. Hope you enjoy your visit!
I don't believe it's a National Park.
I agree with Andi. There is no wheelchair access to upstairs that we recall. Access to the Pullman car would be tough.
This is a really fine piece of history that has been really taken great care of and preserved. Well worth the trip and time. Great gift shop ,really nice grounds.
Yes, there's a whole section about Abraham Lincoln with many of his personal items
I believe not! But you can call them ahead and confirm!
I think after Thanksgiving
Certainly not. It isn't a hotel, it's an old home.
Lincoln called it “Hildene” from an old English word meaning hill and valley with stream.
