Beautiful and historically significant mansion in Harlem built in 1765. Includes an amazing octagonal dining room. It was used by George Washington as temporary headquarters in 1776. It was later inhabited by Eliza Jumel who married former vice president Aaron Burr.

The oldest standing home in New York City, once used by George Washington as his headquarters and visited by Adams, Jefferson and Hamilton, this home is worth a visit for the history buffs. Located at the second highest point in Manhattan.

For part of the American Revolution, it served as then General George Washington's headquarters. It's one of the oldest original buildings on Manhattan island and is a really lovely glimpse into what an estate house in the mid-to-late 1700s would have looked like.
Yes.
We would not have been able to get in had we not booked in advance, so I would advise that.
