We went to look at a dog that we were interested in adopting. The person helping us with the dog was on his cell phone for the majority of the time we were there. After waiting a few days we were told we don't qualify for the dog. I don't know what they are basing this on but it is obvious they don't know what they are doing. I have adopted from this shelter in the past but after my most recent visit I will never go back there again nor will I recommend them.

The staff was exceptionally kind and caring in the clinic with a tiny kitten our cat brought in. We will forever be grateful to all involved with our little guy!

Such wonderful facility and awesome staff and volunteers.

Manager is rude, insensitive and judgmental. I returned a pet because she had behaviors that were of issue with my special needs child. The manager called days later to suggest I return my other pets, in case they might become a problem in the future. That was cruel and insensitive.

I would think probably not. You would do better at the dog park in Warrenton by the old train depot.
You should contact them directly, instead of asking random people on Google. I too am looking for a dog and all of the shelters have 1 or 2 to no dogs available. They are also not easy to work with, you have to make appointments and they are ridiculously scrutinizing everyone acting like we are looking for animals to cook on the grill or something. They are very judgemental and right down rude.
Yes
Call them. There always someone there
I think they are a no-kill shelter.? They are wonderful people abs do their best to find homes for animals. Can you call them?
Try your vet. Call the SPCA or you can even go to your nearest CVS or TSC to get an affordable rabbies vaccine.
Sometimes but they're more likely to have kittens than puppies.
If you live in Fauquier County.
If an stray or unwanted animal is brought to the Shelter with an injury the animal is examined and the veterinary's recommendations are followed. We are only a licensed Spay/Neuter Clinic. We are not a full service Vet Clinic.
No, that is why they are called volunteers.
The animals pictures on the website is always updated so 9/10 they will be there when they open unless they had an approved application and got adopted that day.
If you live in Fauquier County, we will. But it is doubt full that we will find it home.
