Very polite & helpful staff/volunteers. Pets seemed healthy & happy and anxious for a furever home!

New pack member acquired! We are happy to have him, and grateful to AHS for both our 'throw-away' dogs.

I didn't see any snakes there when I adopted my cat but you could drive over and ask them in person. They are closed on Wednesday's
It depends on the animal. If young or easy to work with,no problem. If wildly feral or sick it will be put to sleep
Ask at the shelter, I would think it would depend on the new owner
Volunteers are always appreciated. Fill out a volunteer packet and call the shelter for more information.
Promise animal league in Hagerstown and Adams county Humane society but have affordable spay and neuter options
So sorry to hear of your loss. I would call Antietam Humane Society in Waynesboro, PA if you live close- to see if they have any for adoption. We were there for a cat; but heard lots of dogs barking. They may just have one. We are very happy with the care they show their animals.
All animals have an adoption fee, from my understanding. This ensures animals go to a home that can adequately care for their needs.
Yes they do
You may want to try contacting the shelter directly. They may not see this. Not to be a jerk to the people that will no longer have a home but 30 unaltered cats doesn't happen over night and is totally preventable.
Not personally, but I will check around ....
I don't anymore but if you need to surrender the dog best place instead of them being killed by a car or as such.
Yes
Yes it does
Once you surrender your pet, more than likely you won't get it back. We had a pet that my niece took with her and than later took it to the shelter and we can't even get him back u less we pay there fees
Yes call animal control. +1 717-762-9091 but first call police.
For older dogs the adoption fee is $79.50 but it depends on which animal you are interested in.
Call the shelter for information. These questions do not go to the staff at the humane society. Or check on their Petfinder page of adoptable animals.
You have to call in. This isn't the humane society website.
Contact the shelter by email or phone.
Call the shelter for for information.
There are no min pins up for adoption at the moment and AHS does not have a free adoption day but cats over 7 months old have an adoption fee by donation.
No they do not, they havent for some time now. You're welcome to check out any new pups there though!
Call the shelter and discuss this with them.
Where do you live? The humane society can only accept from their designated service area.
Yes. Boarding and grooming services will be offered after the new building is opened.
