As of recently, AAA can now accept Visa or Mastercard credit card (no debit can be run as credit) for an additional 2.3% fee to cover cost. This is the same if you pay at dmv, (where debit card is accepted, no credit card, opposite of what AAA can accept) online, or at a kiosk. No additional fee if cash or check is used.

If you have the title, you can sign at the first signature line on the front of the title, line 1a. Then on the back, you can add the new owner(s) beginning on line 3a. A Statement of Facts for the family transfer is also required, available at AAA. If you are currently making payments on the vehicle, you must go through the legal owner to make changes. If you lost the title, you will fill out the appropriate paperwork, also avaliable at AAA. Hope that helps!

AAA does not issue US passports, but they do a good job with the passport photos. Also, they can issue an International Driver's License which is good for one year and is required in most cases for renting a car overseas. AAA is a membership organization so membership may be a requirement to get their services.

The DMV offices offer the Real I.D exam and the exam for your license, also to pay car plates or to pay tickets.

I renewed my policy online and printed out a proof of insurance card. I also requested that one be mailed to me.

I don't think they fan for customers unless it is related to a service that they provide. Try aFedEx it a UPS Store, or just about any office supply place. Most places that rent mail boxes offer that service.

I love their roadside assistance and discounts I get from businesses but last year when they TRIPLED my insurance coverage rates with NO EXPLANATION I had to go with United Alliance who gave me an INCREDIBLE rate. My guess is that AAA only wants to insure less people. Totally INSANE FOLKS!!! A terrible way to do business. Let me suggest to anyone with AAA to check out other insurance companies for their rates and give AAA a break since they SO EVIDENTLY don't want to do business with many people, only a few. Sad, so VERY VERY SAD!!
