You can pay to stay at the Salvation Army for as long as you need to stay. But others also the Salvation Army are free but you must check with them about how long you can stay. If you join a program, then you will be there for about a year or more.

Nicole, they do a little of both. If it is gently used clothes, they will try to sell it in the store for 2 weeks before returning it to the warehouse. The proceeds from the store fund a free drug and alcohol program to help men and women find Freedom from addictions. The Salvation Army homeless shelter is provided clothing at request from the ARC as it is needed.

They will take everything except for the mattress and the box spring

Yes. There are 2 options. They have a free shelter with bunks or a dorm with bunks. Dorm is 20 dollars per night. Honestly the free shelter is as good an option since they added it. Used to be the dorm was the only decent option. Check-in starts at 530p but they start lining up around 430.

There are services that can assist with rent. If you're a Veteran Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) can help with a lot of barriers.

Salvation army INSISTS every person staying shower each night at time of arrival

FREE meal is from 1:30 p to 2:30 p daily. Paid meals $4; Breakfast 8a to 9a Lunch 11a to 12pm and Dinner 4p to 5pm, I do volunteer work there.

Women and Children can stay at Shade Tree. Your babysitting father can stay at catholic charities across the street or salvation army
