Great campground. The sites are spacious and level. Most are well shaded. You only get electricity at the site, but there are multiple water taps available. For 2020, the bathrooms are closed. So, you need to be self-contained. The lake is wonderful! 2022 Update: we have continued to come here every year! We love spending a few days in the campground and on the lake. This year, we even enjoyed live music at the pavilion by the museum!

We stayed for three nights in July 2022 in Site 219. We also reserved 236 which has a partial lake view. Check in was super easy. The campground was super clean and bathrooms were well taken care of. I never noticed a cleaning person, but the bathrooms were always clean. At night the loop was very quiet. The camp loop was rather hilly which wasn’t ideal for riding bikes around the loop. The lake access was great. We were able to park at the water. The lake was a great temperature and the kids had a blast swimming. (We rented a pontoon boat at the Marina which I was disappointed with because the boat was super old and not well taken care of… torn up seats, broken ladder etc. If renting from the marina, I would recommend calling about reserving a boat and in what condition. For $480 I expected a boat that was clean and without torn up upholstery.) We have AT&T and had great service throughout the campground and at the lake. Overall: We had a lovely time and plan to return.

Super clean. Nice security to make sure no one breaks the rules. If I have anything to contribute, I wish the hiking trails or bike trails were better labeled. However, someone can argue the opposite. Either way I am coming back for more.

This campground is a nightmare. You pay for everything too much and get no service at all. Way too far from the lake, questions how to get there are unanswered. No flexibility at all, not even for a family with a baby. Canceling a night is impossible, making it a prison. Don t recommend to anyone, never again.

Camped there July 8th to 12th. No tent camping as there are no bathrooms available, trailers and RVs were welcome. I believe they are operating at half capacity.
Camp Edison has a septic dump and there is a fee.
There is overflow parking per each campground, but not a lot.
It depends on the campsite. The map should specify if there is full or partial hookups.
I don't work there but I will tell you that during the summer it is very hard to get a campsite. Camp Edison is a very well maintained and gorgeous campground and is very popular. During the winter months they only open a partial area. I doubt that they allow tiny homes but on my next trip in I will ask.
Yes, but you still have to pay. A better bet would be the area around Bikini Cove (near the Point), it's free, next to the water, and bbq's are okay. Another option is Road 2, or 3 on the other side of the lake. It's $5 per carload, and there are bbq's, picnic tables, and the swimming is terrific!, even for toddlers.
Only if you have a hose bib in front of you that you can attach and fill up your tank and disconnect the hose and fill up when needed. Unless you are in full hookups you can leave hose attached
There is several good sites look at the map of gives you a good idea
Bear sightings in the Shaver area, and at Camp Edison, are extremely rare being so extremely populated by people. Also bear proof trash cans keep them from having something to come around for, and Fish and Game relocate the scrawny ones that may get desperate to try. There's mabey one sighting every 5yrs or so. Further up at Dinkey Creek or Huntington Lake there are active bear around.
Yes dogs are allowed. Dogs need to be leashed and are not allowed to be left unattended at the campsite.
Last week there was 2 feet of snow
35 a night with hook up. No water on site no sewer. Spots are very big its pretty here. They saved alot of it during the creek fire. Town was nice. Very friendly staff at Edison.

Yes you can camp at Camp Edison, but like stated it is by reservation only. They do have a day use beach to use without having to stay the night.
Campgrounds aren't open yet. Marina and day use only. Call Debby at shaver lake sports for updates
No idea but the camping is still closed up here
Make sure it's clean when you return
Of my 50+ years of going to and swimming in Shaver Lake in the Spring, Summer and Fall, I have never seen any water snakes of any kind! So . . . I would say no! Believe me IF there was I would not be swimming in it! Best bet is to contact the Camp Edison Office or local Ranger Station to confirm my statement. Love the Shaver Lake area, one of my favorite places on earth! Rp
I would look on the website. It will show you the camp sites available

Absolutely, you might have to pay for day use which is only $10.00..
There are many showers throughout the campground. Must get a card from the campground. .25 cents for 2 Minutes.

There is bear boxes, and they're pretty good sizes too.
Go to camp edison web site and they will have all the latest fees.

Yes, patio boats, ski boats, fishing boats, jet boats (at other marina), paddle boats, paddle boards, etc....
All sites have fire pits. When looking for sites, notice the page that breaks down different areas; lake view, preferred,etc... Very helpful when choosing sites
No mail delivery
Really depends on the type of campsite and location of the campsite. It's best to visit the website for pricing.
