Beautiful coastal views. No beach access. Easy to find along US-1. The walkway out to the vista point is short and not too steep. Views are excellent from the parking lot and they get exponentially better as you walk down the path. Ahhh...

Amazing spot, a must visit when you are in the area. The whole drive from Stinson beach to Muir beach overlook is awesome with beautiful coastal views like Big Sur. Muir beach overlook is a short walk on stairs from the Parking lot to the nice viewpoint of the Pacific ocean. World war 2 bunker tenants are preserved here. Views right from the parking lot are nice even if you don't want to take the stairs. Free parking. Restrooms at the parking lot.

Great spot for sky and ocean viewing. No beach access, but a boardwalk takes you out on an overlook where you get a great view of the ocean, coast line, and the mountains behind you. Some cool old bunkers give a unique experience and a bit of history.

Homeowners do not own the airspace above their homes. That is the exclusive domain of the FAA to control. That being said, one should be careful to not cause a nuisance to the homes by flying too low, or taking too much interest at too close a range to any particular home. And one should be very careful about wind, and especially gusts, it can be very easy to fly too far in the direction the wind is going, and not be able to get the drone back flying against the wind. But this is one of two places in Golden Gate National Recreation area where drones could be flown: https://www.nps.gov/goga/learn/news/no-drone-zone.htm
There's a small parking lot and the ocean is visible on the horizon. The actual beach won't be visible from the car
Please contact the park administration office and discuss with them.
There is lodging near the beach
Estimated 10-15 car parking slots; a bus can easily occupy half of them. No possibility to park along the drive leading to the spot.
If you happen to see some they would be mule deer or black tailed deer.
