Hidden Lake

Very interesting but pretty strenuous hike with great returns. Trail offers scenery we haven't seen anywhere else yet in the park. Close views of interesting mountains, animals and flowers. Sun on the mountains showed great colors and Hidden lake was fabulous.

More difficult hike than expected but short enough. Lots of opportunities to get magnificent photos. The trail down to the lake is usally closed due to the bear activity.

Great Hike! Incredible views on the way to Hidden Lake and at the overlook. We crossed snow fields in 70 degree weather during the first week of July so the snow was slippery, making the the hike a fun challenge. We wore sun hats and some of us used walking sticks that were helpful on the snow. Take breaks along the way to enjoy the views.

Great hike to Hidden Trail overlook. Unfortunately, the trail going down to the lake is closed when I was there due to bear activity. Beautiful scenery, saw some goat on the way. I recommend this hike if you want to get good exercise. It's about 3-4 miles of uphill.
