This was my first experience with a KOA camp and I must say it is more like a hotel than I expected with restaurants, pools, stores and so on. The few tent sites were very clean and comfortable! Bathrooms/showers and dumpsters were just a very short walk away but had fresh water was right next to the sites! Although the tent sites are fairly close to each other the trees give plenty of privacy. The restaurants, activities and stores in the main part of the KOA can be walked to but might be easier to drive.

Very beautiful KOA. Love the Adults only pool. The grounds are well kept and clean. I do have two complaints though. 1. Our small cabin was $590 for one night, absolutely ridiculous price for such a small cabin. 2. We couldn't stay longer at the pool, past check out. There was NO ONE else by the pool this morning. For $600 a night we could have at least swam for a few hours today.

We have stayed at the KOA twice and we still tell our friends that it us our all time favorite! It is so beautifully landscaped and maintained. The view of the mountains is spectacular and the employees are all very friendly. They have a storage spot to leave your trailer so you can still enjoy a day in the park on the day you check out.

This was a 25th anniversary trip for my husband and I and our first KOA experience. I have to say West Glacier has set the bar very high for our future visits to other KOAs. We stayed in one of the "Medium" cabins and it was amazing and very comfortable. The Cabin was clean and neat and had all the amenities you could need on a trip like this. It had an outdoor grill that had never been used and it came with the propane to supplement our grilling needs. The staff was kind and super friendly. They even acknowledged our anniversary and left us a little gift on our porch. If you are thinking about traveling to Montana and want a good place to stay I highly recommend here!!! We hope to make it back soon, and can't wait for the next adventure.

Hello Stephen, Yes we do allow dogs at our campground. All we ask is that you keep them on a leash and do not leave them unattended for long periods of time.
They do not. But we do have camping cabins, lodges and the Tucker lodge.
Like for yours to keep? They do sometimes allow extended stays. You would want to call as much fat in advance as you can to the have the spot for the season before it's reserved. I don't believe it's possible to just purchase an RV spot at the resort for year round. They are open May-October.
I'd recommend you phone call them directly. I don't believe spots are for sale, only rent. They are a premium campground, and prices are competitive with others in the area.
Comes with fire ring and bench seating, there is also a porch swing. You will need to provide your own linens and utensils. There's h20 access and bathrooms located through out the park. The one's closest to the office are brand new. There's also a Cafe & store inside the park if you forget anything ;) Bring a pet or 2 for no extra fee.
Hello Cathy, we have a small grocery store on site, there is also a small grocery store in Hungry Horse (seven miles). There are two larger grocery stores in Columbia Falls, which is approximately 13 miles from our campground. Larger chain stores, such as Costco, Target, and Walmart are in Kalispell, approximately 35 miles.
Your deposit depending on your lodging or site and is due at the time of your reservation. For pricing and availability call 406-387-5341 or go online to https://koa.com/campgrounds/west-glacier/.

Hello Cameron, Yes, we have single Tent sites and group Tent sites.
Hello Heidi, Our laundry and showers are open 24 hours a day, 7 day a week. The pools and hot tubs are open from 9am to 10pm.
Hello Rachel, We do not currently have a community kitchen.
I've stayed in cabins several times with my dog, not sure why it says that?
The shuttle picks up at the West Glacier Train Station and will take you to Apgar or Lake McDonald Lodge for $10/adults, $5/children. The train station is two miles from the West Glacier KOA Resort. There is also a car rental agency which delivers vehicles to the campground, Glacier Rental Cars.
Our Tucker Lodge is the vacation rental home on our campground. We currently have a few days left in August, the 11th, 12th, 17th, 18th and the 27th - 30th.
I realize this question was posted 10months ago but for future camper I wanted to add a response. They sell firework in the KOA campground so clearly fires are not prohibited but at any time the fire danger levels can change which will cause fires to be prohibited. Some fire levels will still allow propane if you can not have a wood fire. You can check online before camping to see what areas are allowing fires and which are not.
