Go walk down the pipeline for an adventure. The BEST. Trains, lots of swimming spots, bring a couple miller lites it’s awesome!

Great sceneries. If your brave the pipeline safety bars end at a point that was so terrifying 😳 for me. I almost made it 2 the fun water part but needed a long stick 2 keep my balance im such a punk🤭.

Nice place to relax, camp, swim, and fish. Kids enjoyed seeing the rafters come by. You might run into some snakes depending on when you show up.

It's me again asking a question on the pipeline who do you think would be the one to contact to ask about possibly completing the handrails on the pipeline in the city of Richmond? What department at City Hall do I contact ?

I believe it has been left, like a lot of the old infrastructure, "as it was", and the use of it on those terms. It's not a formally recognized trail in the classic sense. I firmly believe in access for all abilities, but part of the RVA charm is that it offers rugged gems of classic adventure while maintaining so, so much that Is accessible to all.

Does anyone think that the city of Richmond will ever add handrails all the way down the pipeline as it would certainly be safer to walk on as we all know?? I would like to attempt to walk the pipeline again but however never again without rails.
