Beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Know that there isn't much to do out here after walking around the designated areas.

The Painted Hills as the name suggest, well are painted. No not my people but by Mother Nature. The main overlook gives a good perspective of the main hills. There is a short hike to get to the rim where you can get the best photos. One thing to note is the roads in this park are not paved. So, if in a sports car, the visit will be limited to the main overlook as the road are a bit rough. Note the best time to visit is later in the day to get the best lite for phots. Also keep in mind that with the west in a drought most years, fires can cloud the hills with smoke if visiting in summer months.

Interesting place to visit. Its quite spread out with 3 different units, miles apart. The main visitor center is really nice but in the sheep rock unit and the Painted Hills is the best bit to visit. The hiking around here is good and there are some interesting areas with different minerals making the landscape multi-colour

Very long drive but very cool scenery. Worth going and seeing the geological wonder is fun to research and to see! There isn't much for bathrooms or water so pack well. There is a short hike for a different vantage point worth going up too.

Nothing nearby as far as I could tell. Prinville has some options
No chance, it's a small parking lot and even a pickup and camper would be a challenge. The only parking lots big enough for a semi would be the Condon visitors center and possibly Cant Ranch
