I can’t say enough good things about this apartment complex and their staff! I moved into a 1 bedroom apartment at Briarwood by Broadmoor in May 2021. I lived here a year and a half and then decided to move in with my significant other in Elkhorn.The apartments are pet friendly and I had an amazing pool view that my cat loved to watch in the summertime. The office and maintenance staff were PHENOMENAL! The office staff always greeted me with a smile when I needed to pick up a package or refill my laundry card! I rarely had issues with my apartment but when I did maintenance was there the next day and the issue was solved. The amenities were my favorite thing about living here though. The pool was so fun and everyone I’ve ever interacted with by the poolside was incredibly kind. I will miss living at Briarwood! If you came here looking for a reason to make this apartment complex your new home you can’t go wrong with Briarwood!!

I moved here a few months ago and it's been a fair experience. My boyfriend got his truck broken into and had his stuff stolen. Management will advise you ahead of time to keep valuables out of your car instead of enforcing more nighttime security. Maintenance is polite and quick. Clearly the one and two-bedroom units are the cream of the crop. The studios are in older buildings erected around 1970-1980s. Frankly they look nice, but while they may have new paint and carpets, have many cracks painted over. I can hear the guy below me coughing clear as day. My fire alarm seemed to have disappeared with the previous tenant. The internet wirings in the wall near the balcony needed two appointments with Cox to be fixed. Ants were coming through my bathtub's cracks, I was informed it is ant season but maintenance/exterminators were still notified and were quick. For a while I was unable to take just a bath as the shower head would come on no matter what. Lots of grass and greenery growing through the balcony. Granted, it's an old building, so I give it some leeway. Router/modem was supposed to be a quick self setup, but I was given a new one by Cox and was told the old one cannot be activated on its own. Very unsure of this situation, but things worked out. Building advertises itself as dog-free but expect the opposite. Neighborhood nearby has folks freely strolling through the parking lot with large unleashed dogs. Nothing is done. Beware as this neighborhood has pitbull owners. Building has a multitude of "emotional support animal" neighbors, one of which has a dog that periodically barks continuously, causing emotional distress to everyone else. I'd be upset with management for doing nothing, but I do understand every renter has their hands tied with that matter. Owners let their dogs defecate in grass and do not pick it up. If you're going to have an "ESA" dog, at least be courteous to those that chose this apartment to avoid dog feces and barking. So far, not a terrible place. Not one of Broadmoor's most luxurious, but I have been living in peace (for the most part).

Great living amenities. Poor after hours security service provider of, currently Signal 88. Less than 5 minutes observed on site, nightly.

Updated review: Helpful and friendly staff! My apartment is older and not updated (peeling cabinets, cracked walls, fraying carpet). This complex is located nearby grocery stores and the gym is really nice! Unfortunately I have had some maintenance problems such as leaking pipes/shower issues. It seems there’s lots of water issues as the water has been shut off quite a few times since I’ve moved in for maintenance. Most recently I’ve been having an ant problem by the windows (they are a bit drafty). The maintenance tries their best to fix things but there’s only so much you can do with an old building. They are very quick at attending to maintenance requests! They always complete them within a day which is much appreciated. Overall not a bad apartment, but I feel it could be better for the price.
