I have used this ramp a couple times with my key west 1520 skiff. I must say I like this ramp for several reasons. First it is pretty much out of the wind so launching is not difficult. If you have a smaller boat like mine,you will have no issues at all. If your boat is big your better off using the ramp on the east side ,because of the spacing. Also thus ramp is not very busy at all,so you can take time to get all your stuff ready and don't have to rush at all. Also the park is pretty and kind of cool with clean restrooms. So all in all I am happy to use this ramp to fish inside the port. Happy day everyone.

Fishing is allowed in some places
It may be OK, it's rather small, there are better places all in that area, A good one might be Kelly park that's off of Banana River Drive right up the road from there.
