Wonderful captain! We had the best time catching Mahi Mahi and King Mackerel. Tim does a great job teaching you everything you need to know. Can’t wait to go again!

Great time 1/2 day. Captain Tim sent clear pre-trip information. Once on-board Captain Nic was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will do full day next time. Caught plenty and followed cooking advice using tuna marinade at restaurant. Fried and smoked also. Fantastic night of fresh fish enjoyed by all.

Family had a great day fishing with Get Down Fishing Charters. Captain Nic was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We were celebrating my grandsons 5th birthday and it couldn’t have gone any better. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good time fishing. Thanks Tim and Nic for helping us make lasting memories. We’ll be back for sure!

Hi Patricia, King Mackerel are typically reliable and March is probably our best month for Cobia. Other species include Blackfin Tuna, Sailfish and Dolphin. Mid April to Mid May is generally best for Dolphin but warm weather can produce good catches in March. On half day trips we mostly slow troll for Kings with the other species making up our "bonus" fish. Cobia can be the exception. If they are here in good numbers, we can spend the entire trip targeting Cobia. On a full day trip, we have time to live-bait for kings, sight fish for Cobia or high speed troll for dolphin. Bottom fishing a possibility also but we are limited on species that can be retained. Grouper are closed, Red Snapper are closed. That pretty much limits us to Amberjack and smaller bottom fish such as Vermillion Snapper and Triggerfish. I'm happy to give you either trip. Just let me know. My number is 321-432-5875 should you wish to call. Thanks, Tim
King Mackerel should be here in good numbers. Cooler weather will bring Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin fish and Cobia. Dolphin generally complete their southward migration between late September and November but it can be hard to predict exactly when. The biggest concern is the weather. As we transition from Summer to Fall, we will experience rougher seas in general. If we have a calm ocean though, fishing is typically pretty decent.
We do our level best to accommodate. It does require some pre-coordination as we have to remove a fish box from the back deck to give you plenty of room. It’s not a big deal and it’s easily done but we have to know to expect it.
