loaded in 3 hours, not bad at all
CHRIS STEWART
Worst place you could ever load. You're always there ALL DAY. Last time I was there it was for about 5 hours, and in that time I was told I was at the wrong gate to go to North Gate to load. Went over there waited in line 2 hours got to front of line was told I'm supposed to be at North Gate. Went back flipped out. Finally loaded 5k over, when I told them he was like yeah we knew you were way over when we loaded but they tell us to do it anyway. Photo below is of North Entrance. Best to call and give them PU # see which gate, but then sometimes theyre still wrong.

If I could give 0 stars I would, but there is no such option. This place is terrible, they have all the necessary resources to be able to do a quick and easy job, but unfortunately most of the operators work very slowly, causing the work and truck lines to accumulate all the time, it is a lack of respect for all the drivers who have to constantly work with the mandatory ELD, on the site they tell you that they work FCFS and it is not like that, they prioritize their trucks and some brokers ahead of you if necessary, also the brokers lately are not paying what is fair, nor payment of detention for spending between 7 and 10 hours waiting to load, all blame their clients, almost all subsidiaries of the Richmond International lumber company, which is the one that moves most of the sub-companies who move the wood to their customers from Ambassador in Cape Canaveral. Avoid working with this company so that they avoid losing their day of operation and work and take care of their money just as they protect theirs. Another thing, drivers do not work for this company for less than $3.70 a mile, the brokers are beginning to pay little for the trips, if they continue doing them they will continue to lower the rates, they will scam them and they will not respect them. This is an expensive business to operate, it cannot be possible that an operator has to take more than 6 hours to load a merchandise, losing a full day on occasions and all this for less than $2 a mile (between $0.50 cents and $1.50 a average interstate mile and $2 local). Make yourselves respect please, otherwise start demanding arrests for all the delays so that the administrators of this Port are in charge of speeding up the operation procedures, this has become a total lack of respect. Luck.

They do not broker the lumber loads out, just storage and loading the trucks. I would look on a load board for them.
Curtis, I hope all is well my friend. Unfortunately ASI is closed for Veterans Day. We will re open tomo 0730. Enjoy your day and my apologies for the inconvenience. Thanks, Mike
