I’m on my second year living here and I couldn’t be happier. The building is energy efficient so utilities are always affordable. Management is wonderful to work with and just overall good people. Maintenance staff is always friendly as well. There are rules, yes, but as long as you are respectful to your neighbors, you should find this to be a great and comfortable place to live! You couldn’t ask for a better location, being in Downtown Melbourne!

This place has good views. It is very noisy if you live on the north side near the bars on the street where the music is live and OUTSIDE. The design is esthetically pleasing but stupid not to have a service elevator. Upon moving out, the manager said it was not acceptable to keep the elevator stopped but they don't instruct as to when or how one is supposed to organize a move. What? In the middle of the night? Management is snotty and arrogant. Frequently don't show up and forget getting packages. the door is locked and managers aren't around to let them in. Way overpriced for the lack of service you deserve. I hope you read the response of management to my review. The snotty tone in that response is because they cannot get out of their own way. Why not just admit that yes, the elevator plan could have been better and a utility elevator put in like most 8 floor buildings? The answer that there are 2 elevators is lame. So they are saying that if one elevator is in use, you can walk all the way to the front of the building or simply climb 9 flights from the downstairs parking lot. As far as the noise, they obviously don't try to get anything done at night in the apartments. The good news is that once in a while the bands are actually pretty good.

I have lived here for a year and just signed my second lease. It has been a really nice experience! The building is always very clean, staff is very helpful, and responsive to maintenance requests. I have some great neighbors that I now consider friends! A few people have mentioned that they dislike the noise coming from downtown. I live on the eighth floor facing east, and you definitely can hear the music from down below. This was made very clear to me before I moved in, and I was given the opportunity to choose a different unit if it was an issue. I have gotten used to it, and I purchased some great earplugs for the nights that I might not want to listen to music. The only thing I would say was a little disappointing is the low end appliances. I haven't had a stove with old school burners, or a fridge without a water/ice dispenser since college. Aside from that small issue, no complaints at all. I love living here! 😊

I like living here so far, the only thing that is so weird is that their common space that can be used to rent out for small events doesn’t have a fridge / freezer to store items in if you are hosting a small gathering , I’ve never lived in an apartment complex (even my end living ones in VA AND TX) that didn’t have cooking / storage amenities in the recreation space for the tenants. If they added these items to their common space it would be perfect 👍🏼

Questions & Answers

What is the parking situation? Also with activities downtown, are there times the roads are closed and we can't get in/out?

There is free parking in a gated outdoor lot. If you want to park in a garage, there is a charge for that. Vehicular access to Highline is typically always available because it is from Melbourne Ave., not E. New Haven. Events are on E. New Haven. not Melbourne Ave.
