Outside the long line in the morning, they worked through a lot of people in a short amount of time. The few workers they had were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Made my first visit there (since moving to Oregon) less painful.

I got there at 10.20 am to renew my driver's license I got all finished up by 12.30 so all in all it went better than I thought it would .
Katie Jorgensen
Spent a whole day here with the proper paperwork but still was not able to accomplish the task because they never called my number. Terrible system. I will never go back to this DMV.

Government service that is already a huge pain opening at 10am like they are a guitar center. All the cidiots saying 5 stars should be ashamed. They are the ones that have made it even worse. Absurdly disorganized, and in a world that is all 5 stars and 1 stars, this truly should be negative stars. Complete joke, and I dread coming back. This is a small town and it takes longer than it did in NY city some years back while on vacation. Nothing but excuses.

So...you get to be off on Saturdays but DMV employees should be required to work? Nice.
Yes you can, greeter desk should be able to help.
Pay your fine and wait out the terms
Yes. I just changed mine.
So I dont think the dmv is connected to the ncic, or even other states dmv...but the pigs can access dmv stuff from every state
I don't believe there is a time limit. I think you do have to have 5 dollars to pay for the test that day though.
They are closed on Saturday and Sunday but they open on Monday at 8:00 a.m.
How to Replace Your Lost or Stolen Oregon License The Oregon DMV will replace your license, permit, or ID if it has been lost, stolen, or destroyed. In order to apply, you need to: Be a resident of Oregon or be domiciled in the state. NOT have had your driving privileges suspended, revoked, or canceled (or reduced in any other way). You can only apply for a replacement by visiting your local Oregon DMV office in person and taking the following steps: Present a completed Driver License/Permit/ID Card Application (start application online). Present appropriate documents of identification, including proof of: Full legal name. Legal presence in the U.S. Identity. Birth date. Social Security number. Residency (if you've moved since you got your license, ID, or permit). Get your picture taken. Pay the applicable fee: License: $26 Permit: $26 ID Card: $39.50 Once you've taken all of the steps listed above, the Oregon DMV will issue you an interim card to use until your lice
They are walk in only and I suggest getting there by 7am the wait is ridiculous.
I don't see why not. You might want to call DMV or go on line to make sure that's what you do.
You really don't need an appointment you can go down there to the Medford DMV instead of lying they will give you a number and then they will Call you. But if you're number do not come up by the time they go to lunch they will text you and let you know what time to come back to the office and you can take care of
Yes they do, appts are lined up separately; walk ins take a number and are seated to wait in the chairs, as it was before. I was a walk in several times recently (waited outside before they opened though) and was done in less than an hour.
You can call and ask them. I don't think you do. I am new to Oregon. When I called it took along time before someone answered, but they were helpful.
Yes you do with proof of purchase
I would suggest that you go to Oregon.gov and enter "Oregon State ID." In Oregon there is now two types of ID's: The normal one or A "Real ID." In a few years a "Real ID" while be required for flying in any commercial airplane. If there is a chance your dad might need to fly then I would suggest getting one now. Otherwise you might have to spend more money and perhaps even more valuable in the long run. I was at the Medford DMV last week and they are doing appointments and walk ups. Appointment seem to be like 6-8 weeks. For walk ups you scan a barcode with a smartphone and then hang around near the DMV office and you should get a message when you are called. One last thing I would mention is that when they tell you it is your appointment time beware that you are going to have to take a "number" and wait inline. I happened to have around 20 people in front of me. However, surprisingly it only took about 20-25 minutes.
Need copy of registration that's past due to get it up to being current
When I called to make an appt it was 30 days later. The day of my appt I arrived a few min early. Someone came out (doors are locked) and checked me in. I waited about 20 min in line outside till I was called in. Then waited in line inside for about 20 min inside to conduct my business. You have to have masks on in Medford. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Make an appointment online to go into the DMV. You can also just go wait in line but they will take appointments first. You may wait awhile.
in person or by mail
Depends on why they are going to impound it
Mad drama Tiff.......you gotta make an appointment , then wait a month...... That's how far out they are
Yes
Call dmv
Make an appointment, at least a two month wait. Show actual S.S.I card. Also another form of your name and address. The confirmation letter on the appointment you received after making the appointment. A 1099 from taxes if you have one. Your bank statement with address. A medical report from your doctor or car insurance card. Birth certificate. They do have our S.S.I. numbers in their system. If you have a passport you`ll be alright. Or you can call them and ask. A note from your dentist or eye doctor will help show identity. I'm not kidding with this. While you are there get a ID also.
Need to be more specific. For a new license you will need proof of identity and birthday (e.g. birth certificate or passport). Social security card. Proof of residence (e.g. 2 or more months utility bills with you name). Proof of identit, a government document with your name and picture (e.g. drivers license from another state or passport). You have to call ahead and schedule an appointment.
Schedule an appointment online and car registration is done online after you take it to deq
By appointment. Also just heard starting this last Monday you have to make appointment online instead of calling.
You have to schedule an appointment to go in to renew your D.L.
They are only dealing with cdl drivers at this time by appointment only. Everything else has to be online only.
Only cdl's are being helped at this time. Everything else has to be by mail or online.
If it is for a cdl you can make an appointment through the phone number. I waited for over 45 minutes, just to be put on hold for another 1/2 hour. If it none cdl related, they will not make any appointments.
You can get a replacement card, at DMV. Take birth certificate, and a bill that goes to your address and, you should be able to get a temporary. I don't know the cost
Sorry. If the question was in english, I might be able to help. 😢
S.S. card, birth certificate, piece of mail with your name and address on it. Preferably a bill or official document School papers was not
Give them a call. They are extremely helpful, both in person and on the phone.
Not yet
Just call them. They are happy to help over the phone. Good luck.
Is there a question here?
I would consider filing a police report
Mine was suspended for more than a year and I had to do the written exam, but not the driving test.
It's costed me around $200 for my license and the new tags for my car
They give you a number and you can sit and wait. Hope this helps
It's actually 21 years old or older for exemption, any vehicle 20 years old or newer up to 2 years old and registered at an address inside the DEQ zone isn't exempt.
I requested mine last May and received it in December
You may be able to go to California DMV website and request your registration
I came from Az State Can I aplay for new driver license on line?
Call DMV. They are very helpful, even over the phone
You have to pay for a whole new registration and title.
Yes
No
I think it is under 2000 or under 2500 pounds for the capacity of the trailer and I think that it includes the weight of the trailer itself, before you have to get a license on it. Just call the dmv and ask to make Shure. But even if they say the t needs a license you are probably never going to get pulled over unless it is some huge pay load and or is a huge trailer. A guy I know has had a big dump trailer for 15 years or so and never had a license plate on it and never been pulled over
I would say YES. Bring the death cert. with you to the office and you can re-title the vehicle.
No, expired means it is no longer usable for anything.
I am not sure. Call the DMV and ask. They ate great with helping
I think you just take your signed pink slip in to the DMV and you can transfer ownership. You don't have to worry about purchase price since there is no sales tax in Oregon.
Bring that And your birth certificate. I had valid CA driver's license and they still asked for birth certificate.
She should be able to I believe
Call the office. They are happy to answer all of your questions.
Thank you so much SANDI... Yes Or ppl os very nice compare to us Ca ppl lol..
I was told it can take up to 6 weeks.
$90 as of the beginning of the year. Prior to 2018 it was $77 but the price went up.
Yes! Get the drivers' manual at the DMV and read it through at least once. Most laws are the same with only a couple rural differences
If you already have a valid license from another state, then all you have to do is surrender your old one and answer a few questions for the state you're going to live in to make things valid. Then you pay your new fees and things should be all set. Did this help you?
This is a great question. I just bought a car but have a suspended license. What can I do?
Yes, written first
No. Just did it yesterday
Not required outside City limits, next year your car will be 20, and be exempt. Something to look forward to. :)
Visit DMV, should be express line.
