This is an older hotel that they are trying to renovate. It has been pieced together though. The rooms are very small and don't have a balcony. The cleanliness is just alright. The pool area is really gross, there's carpeted floor in the pool area. Please remove all carpet from the pool area. That is just so gross. There is no free breakfast here. Location depends on what you're looking for. It's centrally located in the GR metro area, but not downtown. Free parking is a plus - the cost of an uber to downtown is less than 1 night parking downtown. There's some cute restaurants nearby.

Stayed here for two nights for a concert, and was quite pleased with our stay. One of the cheapest options in the area that isn't a motel. Easy to get downtown via Uber, or driving. There are restaurants and things to do in the near area too, like the John Ball Zoo. Really enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The pool room was quite spacious with many areas to sit if you want to just relax in there. Our room was very clean, and we had no issues with noisy neighbors. It was very quiet. The mirrors in the bathroom are a plus too, because they have LEDs built into them. Helpful if you're applying makeup. The Starbucks Express was another plus. The staff there were very friendly and let us sit in the dining room in a booth near the water while we drank our coffee. The woman who checked us in was a total sweetheart. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Grand Rapids for a concert!

I liked it. They have good food in their restaurant. They have a lunch buffet, I think it was $13, all of it was good. It's pretty in here. The windows in the room were small for it being on the water. The beds were fine, but I don't wish to sleep here again. I will be returning for the food though 😊 The lobby is really pretty 💖 The pic is from the window of the room.

Great hotel for the price. The pictures look better than what it actually is. Still not bad though. You can just tell its an older hotel. The front desk staff was very nice and inviting. We loved that there was a starbucks in there. The little market is open late which is convenient. The only thing I would recommend would be some vending machines on the higher floors
