Didn't see much. Love the idea of a unisex restroom. Stalls have floor to ceiling doors, for privacy. Don't need privacy to wash hands!

The NASH service will take you downtown to the visitor center from the airport for $3.50 and there the free DASH service will take you to many tourist spots where you can get off as you wish and get back on another DASH bus which run aprox. every 30 min. See visitor center guides for info on the various options.
There is an uncovered parking lot adjacent to the visitors center that should accommodate a reasonably sized RV.
There are street maps with directions and points of interest
No, but you can ride a city bus free. Check the bus routes.
No out side lot gate want go up and no attendant in booth toget out...really fisappointef with new center...not like old one...
Yes
A Gallant Defense by Carl Borick, Director of the Charleston Museum is great for the Rev war. For Civil War I'd recommend Milby Burton's The Seige of Charleston.
Sorry, I dont live there, was just visiting.
Yes you can buy tickets for the tours if you can find anyone to sell you a ticket! Then when you find one getting them to wait on you well let's just say you better bring your lunch!
Parking is still the same, the same surface lot or the same parking garage. The temporary visitor center is located in the Best Friend Train museum on John Street just next door to the bus shed and the visitor center being renovated. It's basically in the same place, just the other side of the bus shed.
Yes right next to information center in the middle of downtown area very convenient
Sorry I didn't see anything like that
It is an airport shuttle that run express from the visitor center
Corporate.
No, not in Charleston
We have different weavers each week. They all very good
Most tour companies will allow bottled water on tour, but the museum's may have their own policies. Bring a bottle of water, dehydration is no joke.
7 days a week, 8:30am-5:30pm Apr 1st to Oct 31st. Closes at 5pm from Nov 1st - Mar 31st. Closed 3x a year: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
Yes there is parking. It's about 6 dollars for most of the day. We parked there and then took the free shuttles all over the city. Worked out great
Free at welcome center with buying tour trolley.
Yes. At the visitor's center.
Yes
Tons of parking, recommend public bus for transportation to the battery
Some gas stations still sell maps or you can go to Bing or Google maps. If you have a smart phone, they you have a map and lots of reviews. .
Uber would be expensive, so I suggest renting a car.
There is a shuttle within town but different route. not sure of folly and MUSC
The "Holy City " is as beautiful as ever. There was minimal damage in the downtown area. Enjoy!!
