Amazing local cuisine! Alayna was a great host!

Wanda was our waitress and she did a good job.

Our server/waiter, “Jamaican” Clifton H was wonderful! He was knowledgeable and provided insight into an excellent meal at Hyman Seafood. Our Charleston trip was made special by Clifton H and Hymans! Now we understand why Southern Living recognizes them as #1!

Alayna was friendly and prompt server. The food was excellent and the restaurant was clean. Our server even wiped down the decor while in between service.

Walk up service only. They move the customers through pretty fast so even at peak time, the wait is manageable. Plus nice places to sit outside.
There is ofcourse gluten free options, lots. It's a seafood restaurant, so obviously, but if you need it to be in a category on the menu, no.
Honestly, Best to call if you have allergy concerns. . They do serve boiled peanuts instead of bread if you like. Plus, they serve by course.
Everyone is very nice and friendly! You also get a free dessert on your birthday! Key lime pie is amazing!
I'm not definitely sure, but I think I saw it on the menu.
We walked there, inquired, they said 20 minute wait so we put our name on the list and had drinks at bar until they sat us
While I was there, I noticed the staff all wore appropriate masks, all table were more that 6ft apart, once a group left a table it was immediately cleaned with a pretty strong disinfectant. Over all I believe Hymans is going above and beyond in not only keeping their employees safe but their customers as well.
No ma'am they don't, but make a suggestion about it and maybe they will consider a lunch buffet 🤔
Do y'all have all you can eat crab legs
Call them! Probably...
Now
Please Google "Hyman's Seafood menu" as the offerings do change.
Dont go to hymans. Go to Henry's instead. Much better and lot less money. But most important, it's better at henrys
It's not easy to find a parking lot near the restaurant. You can park a car in public parking building and walk to there.
Yeah...they serve both..fried grilled steamed..pretty much any way you want it
You have to park along the street and use a parking meter.
There is a parking garage on Hassel Street which is right behind Hyman's.
It is part of Hymans. They pretty much own that block.
Absolutely the food was awesome
No, not even close, but a really good place, be prepared to wait, lots of people think so too. Worth the wait.
No they don't take reservations it's first come first serve
My mother is a vegan and she seemed to have no complaints about their options here. Keep in mind however this is a fish fry place so the options may not be the greatest
No it is open and I sat at a spot Sandra Bullock had a meal at. Very good food and the variety is astounding.
I know there is a lot off of Cumberland & Church, as well as Pickney & Church. Both a minute walk away.
