Wake Forest BAPTIST HEALTH is the best hospital or clinics I have ever seen. I'm lovin 'it

I had 2 dissatisfying appointment. Dr Miller and Dr Joy, who obviously did not listen or care about my excruciating neuropathy pain. They are garbage as doctors and don't care! I REALLY WASTED MY TIME!

They have been very nice. They always ask my pain “right now.” My last visit I told of my pain when I prepare breakfast or do little chores. The PA said she’d make an appointment with the doctor to do a nerve block. That was over 2 months ago. I presume they have abandoned me. I wrote about 3 weeks ago and have had no response. I am going to try and find another doctor.

The PAs and fellows seem to be on the right track for pain management of Cancer patients. But the head Woman Dr! May should just stick to back patients. She may be ok with them; But only if you agree to have a Pump installed’ She is definitely mainly about making money on surgery for a pump to be put in! Definitely A Cancer patient in severe pain is not the type of client for her! She will never up dosage for extreme long term pain even when Fellows and assistants agree that they should! What a disgrace that the Pain Management people have caved to this so called opioid epidemic thats been going on since the opium tents during Chinese slavery!

I usually have found that mid afternoon is best to get through. I have had Similar problems myself
You can call the main number and request to speak with the clinic manager to report whatever happened. You can also go online to wakehealth.edu to send a message or get the number for Service Excellence.
The only number I have is the one they gave on the appointment page of my paper work. You may have to stop by the Cotton St. Office and speak with them there. Wish I could be of more help. Regards!!!
No. Never. I have been pleasantly surprised to find out that , especially the Wake Forest satellite offices and clinics are extremely nice, kind, courteous and helpful. I do so appreciate being treated quickly and efficiently by all the employees, from the doctors and nurses to the guides and administrative personnel. Thank you for asking.
The only one I saw at Brookstown that was nice was Dennis Leary and nurses. The other 3 were rude with no empathy; getting upset cause I have a lot of serious allergies so they could not experiment on me!!! I guess I was not going to make them a lot of money!!!
