Staff and doctor were very nice. However some of their testing equipment was not working and I had to go to Quest Diagnostics to have blood work done.So I really got no answers for the problem that I needed to have help with. They made a second appointment in four weeks but I may have to look for answers elsewhere. Will wait in results if blood work to decide.

Absolutely would not recommend in any sense of the word! Would give minus stars if available. First visit after only 6 minutes was told by doctor they had a meeting and needed to wrap things up! No interest in anything I had to say. Was not allowed to discuss results of lab work once completed with the doctor, no follow-up whatsoever. And Healthcare Team? What Healthcare Team...a receptionist is not and should not be privy to my medical records, and that is NOT the type of Healthcare advocate I desire, and a fella who says he's not a nurse and who couldn't answer any questions, I don't think so. Days and weeks go by with messages, emails and phone calls UNANSWERED! Not even close to any kind of professional attitudes or environment for any senior! What a waste of time, which most seniors do not have. No one wanted what they were advertising to be true more than me, unfortunately they are far from, not even close. After expressing my concerns to management for a hopeful outcome, nothing but the silent treatment...total crickets. No follow through, and totally forget if you should have an emergency, go elsewhere, zero assistance from here!!!! YES they are different from other Healthcare providers for certain but in a negative way, what a major letdown in to many ways to count. On a positive note, only one nurse I encountered was simply precious and should not be grouped with the remaining. I don't imagine she will remain there very long after she sees how the patients are treated repeatedly. 👎👎

Scheduling is horrendous. If you need people who care about your needs, go somewhere else! Been trying to get medications for a month now and still NOTHING! Not impressed.

I decided I would look for another Primary Care Physician. In reviewing some of the sites online, I found Iora Primary Care. The website was very inviting, and after reviewing the video I knew I had found my home. I was thrilled to find an office that specializes in patients who are 65+ and on Medicare! I absolutely loved this concept, and I immediately called and made an appointment, and I was not disappointed. The place and atmosphere are lovely and very welcoming! I would like to thank Dr. O, Matti, Mary and the front desk staff for making my first visit an extraordinary experience! I love the attention and care given to my overall health and well-being. Everyone was nice, professional and very caring. I felt like I was the only patient in the office. And, kudos to Mary for getting my vein on the first try for my blood draw. That doesn’t happen very often. The location is great and convenient! After your visit you can have lunch and go shopping...I did! I could go on an on, but I wanted to share my experience so others would be interested in giving this “wonderful concept” a try. I love the IORA way! Thanks, Helen New Patient

While we are not affiliated with any hospital, we can work with any hospital that is within your network and we can coordinate with your loved ones to help ensure you are getting the care you need.
We’re Iora, a doctor’s office dedicated to providing quality primary care for adults 65 and older on Medicare. We’re here for seniors with quality care that’s focused only on you. As an Iora patient, you receive a primary care provider and Health Coach who are focused on your needs, and you are also supported by a care team. We practice relationship-based care, which means we take the time to get to know our patients and value the relationships we build with them.
We are open and welcoming new patients, and remain on call for our patients 24/7. While COVID-19 remains a threat, especially for older adults, we are encouraging video visits as the best first option for most care. For patients in need of in-person care, we are taking measures to safeguard the health of our patients and care teams in our practices. This includes cleaning the exam room after every appointment, wearing personal protective equipment, as well as requiring patients to wear masks when they are at the practice.
We are a primary care doctor’s office for adults on Medicare. We offer in person, video and telephone visits for patients. Our patients have access to a Behavioral Health Specialist on-site. Our patients are also able to access an Iora provider 24/7 by phone for urgent needs after business hours or on the weekends. We also have on-site laboratories and can coordinate transportation when you need help getting to appointments. In addition, we provide exercise and health and wellness group classes.
We can partner with any specialist that is in your insurance network. If you have existing relationships with specialists, great! Feel free to keep them. If not, we can recommend one.
Hello T, Our Winston-Salem practice is not closing. We are still seeing our patients and welcoming new patients. While we are still seeing patients, we are serving as many patients as possible with telephone or, in some cases, video appointments rather than in person, first. Please call our team before coming into one of our practices. Thank you!
