I've seen one dr and one student here that was worth seeing. People that answer the phones do not send your messages back, and now they are not wanting to see you without a referral. I've been a patient for years and need a retina specialist! But apparently the phone screeners are the new eye doctors and they decide if you get seen or not. I'm going to find another doctor. What really sucks? I work for Atrium/WF, have their insurance, and apparently I will have to find an out of network doctor to see, that will end up costing the insurance more money because I've met all my deductibles!

The Eye Center at Baptist care about the patients. My sister has Parkinson's Disease and she needs the best care and Baptist Eye Center provides that care. Her doctor, Dr. Rajiv Shah, is the best. She has had three surgeries so far because of two detached retinas and cataracts. Dr. Shah gave his personal cell number to her to call him at anytime if she had any questions. He goes beyond what is expected of him as a doctor. We have to wait when we have appointments, but the quality of care is our main concern. Dr. Shah and his team provide the best of care for all patients. We have to deal with parking lot issues, but our main concern is the care given to my sister. Atrium Health Wake Forest Eye Center provides quality care for all. Dr. Shah always has a kind word and a smile to make her feel better. He is AWESOME!
