By far the second worst hotel in Memphis. But ehh you get what you pay for. These rooms have to go for like $20 a night because this place should be shut down by code enforcement.

This was truly one of the worst places I've stayed. I made the mistake by choosing based on price, so that is my fault. When I checked in, the front desk staff argued with the housekeeping staff about which rooms were clean. This went one for about 5 minutes. There were people milling about in the lobby, which was fine. The hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. The first thing I noticed was the dirty hallways filled with litter. I entered my room and noticed that the floor hadn't been vacuumed: there were crumbs and bits of candy wrappers on the floor. The chair had a penny on it. The smoke detector was covered in plastic. Plaster was falling from the ceiling. In the bathroom, one of the ceiling tiles was askew. There was mold in the corner of the bathroom floor. I could deal with all of this and I had intended to stay. However, when I saw the cockroach in the bathroom, that is when I decided it was too much and I left.

Lots wrong with this place, I'm perplexed how anyone could give this place anything over a 1. The entire hotel smells of smoke, even our non smoking room, which came with an ashtray. The floor wasn't clean, I stepped on a loose screw, and the front desk didn't care. There was something spattered across a picture in the room. The TV was without signal, so dont believe their claims of amazing cable packages. The curtain was screwed to the wall, uncertain why. I was on the third floor and my wife discovered that the large window opened and didn't have a screen, so do not bring small children with you. In fact, just don't come in general. Sleep on a bench or in your car.

They have changed so much and very respectful. They make sure you get service all day. Housekeeping Ms.Bebe is very outstanding and she make sure she helps all guest. I recommend this building. Don't knock it till you try it. Coming from Chicago
