We just got home from our stay there. We stayed mon thru Sat and it was our 4th time staying here. Love the pool and so glad the hot tub was available. Beds are decent in comfort. Glad for the fridge and microwave. Central access to all our family and friends in the area. Staff is always very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfasts. Barb(I think was her name) made sure to get sausage gravy cause it ran out the one morning for my daughter who was really looking forward to it. Wish for longer stays they had a set price instead of different everyday. Overall, we will be back on future visits when up in the area.

I was in one of the rooms by the door that's near the pond. I walked out of my room to walk to the gas station nearby. I could smell weed coming strongly from the room next to me. I am fully aware weed is legal in MI but this is a NO SMOKING hotel. When I came back I went in through the lobby to inform the young man working. I could smell weed up there as well just no where near as strong. When I mentioned this to him he said No. I said yes someone is smoking weed in this hotel. Another guessed had walked in while I was speaking to the young man. When I went around the corner to head back to my room. He asked the person who walked in if they smelled weed. I drive a semi along with at least 3 other guest in the hotel at this time. All our rigs where located in the lot. I personally have asthma attacks from the smell of weed. It bothers my asthma pretty bad so I can definitely tell when it's around. I felt the young man was unprofessional and that questioning my statement instead of investing was pretty rude!

My friend Ashley and I stayed over night and we had a good time. Things were clean and the jacuzzi and pool were super nice. Breakfast in the morning was decent - there was yogurt, waffles, cereal, juice, and coffee. I didn’t see a water dispenser so I asked the guy and he said they didn’t have one (you guys should definitely add one to your lobby). A couple minutes later he came and personally brought me a water 🙂. Thanks for a great experience!

If you’re going to charge a “card authorization” as well as charge for my room, instead of waiting for the authorization to refund, you should only collect the balance. When I called to question the timeframe of money getting returned to my card the woman on the phone was incredibly cold. Had she been polite and even remotely sympathetic, I might not be writing this. You can’t have a bad policy on file and then be rude to your customers who are upset. I specifically chose this hotel because it is a Choice Hotel, and the lack of care or respect I received on the phone is far from my expectations.
