Taylor Morrison built our Dream home. However, we noticed some imperfections; the connection tubing to hide the television wires was blocked by a 4x4, master bathroom toilet leaked and the flushing mechanism broken, the door to the laundry room does not close. The company is unresponsive

Currently, Bellalago is a beautiful community of single family homes. The park-like setting with abundant wildlife (including bald eagles) was a major factor in my decision to purchase a home here. Now the developer, Taylor Morrison, is proceeding to destroy a large tract of oak trees in the heart of the community in order to construct over 100 townhomes. These townhomes will be priced significantly less than the current homes. They do not conform to the architectural standards which apply to the rest of the community. For this area, the site map indicates "future residential". A "multifamily development" is indicated outside the community. Since this distinction is made in one area of the community site map but not in the other- the map is misleading. Taylor Morrison acquired the original developer of Bellalago (Avatar Properties/AV Homes) in 2018. Prior to that, the community was very highly rated. Since then, there has been a dramatic drop. Now that there are relatively few home sales left to be had in the community, Taylor Morrison is announcing their plan to destroy valuable 100 year old oak trees in the heart of the community in favor of substandard townhomes. In summary- The impact of over 100 townhomes will be significant- including environmental, aesthetic, traffic, overuse of facilities, and loss of parking for community events. Taylor Morrison is behaving like a bad tenant who trashes the place on the way out. I communicated my concerns to Taylor Morrison several weeks ago, but have received no response from them...

Over crowded community and amenity center. Can't use the amenity center because it's becoming over crowded and they like to turn people away and close the center early. Unable to enjoy nature trails and parks because they are missing and no where to be found, but Taylor Morrison has the trails and parks on the community map. Taylor Morrison is a horrible, dishonest, and greedy company that prefers to destroy the habitats of endangered and non endangered animals in order to build townhomes for profit. In addition to that, the board members for the community HOA are Taylor Morrison employees!
