Not for people looking to 'get away from it all'. The campsites are breathing down each others necks, and the highway is right next to it. We stayed at site 75 and the noise of motorcycles and trucks kept us up all night. The ice cream man drove through every day, it was obnoxious and loud. Dogs are allowed on leash, but theyre not allowed on the beach. The bathrooms near the 70s loop are permanently closed. And while we were there the main bathroom were shutdown as well, leaving only the bathroom in the 30s. Though, we heard the toilet in the 70s bathroom flush several times during our stay...someones in there. If youre looking to eat junk food outside, this place might be up your alley. If you're into nature? There's gotta be someplace better.

It’s a really beautiful spot to hike, do a day trip or camping in summer. Sites go quickly as much as a year ahead. If you come in the off season be prepared to walk in about a quarter mile
