I wanted a hotel with an indoor pool so that before or after skiing my children could swim. The closests hotels I could find were the Hotel Vienna which was booked solid and the Howard Johnsons and Comfort Inns in Saugerties. I stayed at the Howard Johnsons. I am very glad I found a hotel with a pool because things went wrong during our trip with the result that one of the days we couldn't ski. The Howard Johnsons is next to the Apollo diner which has quality food which we all enjoyed. The only disappointment was they did not have free continental breakfasts as many hotels do. On the other hand the price was good.

I showed up, no reservations required at hunter, the lodging area requires id, proof of vaccination, and also they want to to make a reservation because of their limited seating area, to be able to seat down and eat inside. They also have a food truck outside.

When I was there I didnt see anyone go snow tubing, but I dont know for sure.

I went like last weekend and they said they didn't have it at the time. When I went to snowboard, there wasn't any one tubing

It takes about 15 minutes to set up an account and password. After the initial set up, the site is just 2 minutes to log in, choose Vaillancourt company resort and make reservations. The same goes with the Tock ap for dinning reservations.

It may be warm this weekend so think water proof clothes. Standard gloves and snow boots. You move enough to keep some what warm so I don't think you need to dress for the artic circle...just warm.

It is not. Snow Tubing is behind the houses and condos which are to the right of the main slope. There's a path that goes in between though.

Even when the days are too warm they will use the snow makers at night when it cools off so there is pretty much snow all season long.

They generally have snow then but they also make snow, call ahead. Not sure what you mean about yours, they have skiing beginner to black diamond, and they run many events through the holiday season

There's a single loop from top of the hill to the ground level. I don't remember the exact rates but should be 30-40 dollars. Refer to the website for more details of adventures at Hunter Mountain.

Hunter is officially still open today through Friday 4/13. They're not yet announcing a closing date, but keeping an eye on the contiditions. You should keep checking throughout the week, they might be open... (their instagram account is always most up to date)
