Hotel staff were pleasant and exhibited excellent customer service. Rooms were clean. I liked the sheets. The highlight of my stay was meeting and experiencing the service of Ms. Pat during my breakfast time. She needs a promotion! Thanks Hilton Memphis!

Stayed during evacuating from New Orleans during Hurricane Ida. The Hotel Manager (I forgot her name) was VERY nice and VERY accommodating. We were traveling with my handicap mother-in-law, children and three dogs and arrived a few hours before check-in (we booked 2 adjoining rooms). After hours of traveling and exhausted from stress, traffic and the uncertainty of our home, we just wanted to get into our room(s) and relax. The lady manager went out of her way to get two necessary adjoining rooms cleaned and ready VERY quickly so we could check in early. She was SOOO nice and understanding. She also made sure we got the very best price by applying any and all discounts and waiving certain fees. This woman deserves a raise! BRAVO! The rest of our stay was good. About the only complaint was the pool and pool area. We realized we weren't on "vacation" but the kids were excited about swimming. Each time we went to the pool (middle of the day), the other "adult" guests in the pool area used more foul language than a x-rated movie. The females looked like they were straight out of a hood-rat rap video. For the most part, the other pool patrons acted like complete animals and Hilton should be embarrassed by allowing this behavior. Also the pool was filled with fake finger nails, snot, urine, nylon fake horse hair weaves, pubes and Jerry-Curl Relaxer. When we brought it to the attention of the hotel staff on duty at the time, the answer we received was "sorry". Other than the pool experience, I would certainly stay here again (only not plan on swimming).

Positive: We were on the 25th floor, and the view was incredible. The rooms were clean and had comfortable beds. All of the staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. Also, having the Starbucks/restaurant in the hotel was nice and convenient. Negative: No - everything was fantastic.

Positive: Great location, beautiful room and lobby. Negative: There was only one issue, there was a live roach in my room when we walk up, no big deal for us, but I did tell the front desk and they were very apologetic. I just told the front desk so they could fumigate the room. Besides that experience was great!

Coffee shop on third floor is cheaper than the hotel restaurant but no free breakfast for most people.
Not close 20min ride atleast. Try peabody , double tree or google downtown for full list but it is a wonderful hotel with transportation available.
