Rest stop! This one is nice just in case you need to turn around unlike most rest stops. Sadly half the bathrooms were closed there was a little line. Other then that there was a beautiful river view on the side with park benches!

All freeway rest areas automatically get 5 stars from me just for their very existence. I give this one at least an additional star for being one of the nicer Willamette Valley rest areas. It's clean and quiet, with lots of parking for autos, not just right next to the restrooms. In the past, I have walked around the grounds of this one extensively during the daytime. This last time, I was there at night, and was able to get some much needed rest before completing my long drive.

Long time issue.
I'm always just in and out of this rest area. Very nice place and I see trucks here overnight so don't think you would be harassed.

Closest dumping grounds is at KOA in South Salem, about 15-20? Miles north from here
You can stay over night
The rest stops throughout Oregon State stay open 365 24/7 unless of course of road construction.
