I was an employee here for 8 years and I can attest to these previous reviews being true. There really are caring counselors who help clients find sobriety....However, the story about the client walking into group while he was being talked about behind his back is also true. And it's a fact that the facility is run down and not well maintained. I was personally embarrassed that new clients would arrive to see the landscaping full of weeds and the front door damaged and ugly. Regarding mayonnaise not being allowed, that's due to the fact that the director hates mayo. Go figure. One thing that always rubbed me the wrong way is that employees with no professional medical training were forced to dispense medications. I will concede that these frustrations can be overlooked if someone really wants to get clean and sober, or really needs a job (at a place that does not offer any paid vacation). I like that Google Reviews allow the public to "Speak Truth to Power".

I was here 20yrs ago. Just go! Follow what your tought. After 2 years your life will be changed forever. You can and will succeed! Love yourself and leave the foolish friends behind. Honestly you will find your true friends on your journey. Even the friends you love the most unfortunately don't love you the same. Love yourself and go!

I got sick 4 days after I got there and so I was trying to keep in my room and stay away from the other residents until at least until I got tested for covid-19. They didn't even get a test done and I couldn't believe that I was kicked out for not cooperating with their program and for not following their rules going to groups. There was another resident there who the councilor Steve had lied and told him that I was leaving on my own which was a lie, they had kicked me out and I so when we both confronted Steve, he wouldn't admit that I was really kicked out but he wouldn't say that I was leaving on my own will like he said earlier. The best counselors are Ed and Lori. They are truly amazing people.

i was there from july 2 to july 9 and i got to say at first its seem fine , they show you videos from the 80 , come on the dayly rate is over 900 dlls im sure they can afort newer videos , the gim equipment is from the 80 as well , but the worse part is that the staff , and i mean the counselors will let other clients ( thats what they call the people that go there) talk about you behind your back , this is what happened to me on day 9 , i was supoce to join group and rigth before we all went into the group room i got call by my counselor name steve , to tell me some insurance issues i was having, once we were done he told me to go ahead and join group , so i did , i approach the door very carefully so i wouldn’t disturb the sesión and to my surprise i heard they were talking about me and the private things i told them . and laughing, what broke my heart was that even the counselor was making fun of me , i feel humiliated. i could not join the group so i went to my room wich for 900 a day was horrible , steve came in a couple of minutes later to find out what has happened, i explained to him the situation, but he juta keep on blaming me and that my addiction to alcohol was to blame , come on he juts asume , and didnt get the facts , of course hes gona cover for his friend ned the counselor that allowed the violations of my privacy, i i decided to leave that next day . and i was treated horrible, ofcourae to them im juts a dollar $ next day the human resources lady wich im kot gona name because shes was the only one that treated me awesome apologize and trie to tell me ned was new and apologize for letting that happen, i would not recommen this to anyone , period
