When I was there the other day, the boat launch (between the NB and SB rest areas and under the overpass) was free and open.
Looks like the official boat launch is closed, and you probably can't use the shore since vehicles and camping isn't allowed by the water. Its free if you're quick, unless you would like to send a donation to the Oregon DOT. Sure they never get tips.
Can you fish late at night there all night?
Oh. I didn't know it closed down. It should've stayed open because I used to use the area to clean off Sea-Doo of possible invasive plant/critter species. Now I see why invasion is spreading...
No idea. Only stop for java, and men's room. We normally just a fly-by there. Haven't lived there since 1969.
