Your package will be returned. The post office delivery is set up by zip code.

Did your package ever come? how long did it take? I'm going thru the same thing. In transit for days now.

Go to management . There should be an 800 number to call .Post office is doing the best that they can to get everyone's package,letters or which ever to the customers due to high volume an different changes in the facilities that might be a slight set back but your pkg will definitely get to you .

Yes you can. If you have a tracking number. I would call ahead.

No customer service rep see the same thing you see when you track a package they get paid to do absolutely nothing because they can't help you either SMDH

I'm having same issue. Package sitting there for 10 days now. Are they eventually delivered. This is horrible. My kids were relying on this package for Christmas

@G Williams you CAN'T ship anything from that location. Do not go there trying to ship anything. @Tracy Phillips they do not have a front desk because they do not take customers of any kind. This is not a post office. It's a distribution center.

You need to go to the main post office in Downtown Jacksonville. It is on Kings Road, Exit 353 C off of I-95 North. Take the ramp, turn left which is the only way you can turn, and it will be on your left after you go underneath the overpass. Depending on what was in the package maybe the key as to why it was opened. If it was anything illegal in there, it was confiscated. Otherwise Raise cane with the postmaster there. Everything goes through the main post office or as we call it the P&DC. (Postal & Distribution Center). The NDC is for trucks only. You cannot enter there without authorization. Stuff like this is only handled at the Main Facility downtown. I don't have the phone number for the main facility. You can get it from your local facility there near or in Chicago.

All mail normally goes to Jacksonville before being distributed to their final destinations. Double check your address that you sent it to to make sure it's correct. If all else fails, Google the main post office on Kings Road downtown Jacksonville to get the phone number. If no one answers there, Google the network Distribution Center on Commonwealth Road and call them. Both post offices have multiple numbers. But only the main post office downtown on Kings Road can truly help you. They'll find your package. Most mail coming out of Orlando's P.O. comes to Jax. Also contact Orlando P.O. to get an explanation as to why it went to Jax instead of Merritt Island. Some postal runs in Florida have consolidated. This may be the reason as the consolidations only happened in the past few weeks. Also if you need packages to arrive quickly, send them priority Mail. You should get better results.
